At the beginning of our history when God created the first man – Adam (peace be upon him) – Iblis (Satan) refused repentance and, with it, the gift of forgiveness after defying God’s command to prostrate before the first man of creation.
Alhamdulillah, by the Grace of Allah, Most High, you have completed the first 10 days of Ramadan – the first Ashrah of Ramadan – you just prayed the 11th Taraweeh prayer and insha’Allah if you rise in the morning to see another day, you will intend to fast the 11th day of Ramadan.
Ramadan is ironically a month in which we are more eager to dine with others than usual.
Never has a religion emphasized the importance of maintaining the ties of kinship and building strong bonds with one’s relatives/family than the religion of Islam.
Allah Ta’ala in His infinite Mercy has favoured us in so many ways. Such blessings that we cannot possibly enumerate nor show sufficient gratitude to the Almighty. Amongst the many blessings include a very special GIFT – Laylatul Qadr- The Night of Power.
Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, used to strive hard (in worship) during the last ten days of Ramadan in a way that he did not strive at any other times (Muslim).
