The most influential Iranian Sunni leader referred to new round of awakening and love among Iranians, believing that such awakenings marks a bright future. He called the Iranians as one family and insisted on preserving fraternity.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid was talking to the people of Zahedan before the Friday prayers on March 22, 2024.
Islam teaches us to respect the commonalities of all human beings
The Iranian top Sunni leader insisted on preserving human dignity and said: “We share common interests with all people of the world. We respect and love all people. We have human brotherhood with all people. According to the Islamic view, we are all children of Adam and Eve from the same parents. Human beings, whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims, are all respected; Allah Almighty mentioned this issue in verse 75 of Surah Asra. So we have to respect all the children of Adam”.
Allah does not say that he has honored only Muslims, but he says that he has honored all human beings; this dignity is not limited only to a specific group of people but to all human beings. Unfortunately, some (with their performances) cause others to hate the religion. Islam teaches us that we should be well-wishers to all human beings and respect everyone’s rights. The holy Qur’an says in verse 8 of Surah Momtahenah, that you (Muslims) should do good to non-Muslims who do not oppress you and treat them justly, “said the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan.
“Looting non-Muslims’ properties and disrespecting them is forbidden. Allah Almighty says: Do not treat Jews and Christians with violence but talk to them with respect, “He stressed on treating all human beings well.
Iranians are members of one big family
The people of the province should be kind to the Nowrooz travelers
The most outstanding cleric of Iranian Baluchistan went on to call the Iranian people as members of one family and stated: “Iranian people are members of one family. These days, Iranians travel to Sistan-Baluchistan. When you see them, you imagine that they are members of your own family. Iran consists of a big family that includes all religious and ethnic communities. These commonalities make us as members of one family. We must respect each other and have good manners. Islam has been spread with good ethics and behaviors”.
“The holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him did not feed his children when others were hungry, but he fed the people first and if anything was remained, he and his children used to eat, “the president of Darululoom Zahedan further referred to the good behavior of the holy prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
“Enmity, hatred and minutes have no positive result, he believed.
Imam of the grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan added:
“Today, Iranians love each other more than ever. In the recent flood damages of Dashtiari, Iranians showed their sympathy and love with each other. I have never seen such a scene in the past. The people of Iran, including people of remote and marginalized areas (from different parts of the country), helped the flood victims as much as they could. Especially the dear people of Tehran worked very hard to help the victims. People sent humanitarian aids from different regions of Iran, including from Kurdistan, Khorasan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Golestan, Isfahan, Shiraz, etc.”
The awakening of the Iranian nation shows a bright future
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid continued his Friday speech of Zahedan by referring to the new awakening in Iran, saying: “The awakening of the Iranian nation is the sign of a bright future. This shows that the people of Iran have abilities and competencies. If people were trusted and everyone was hired based on ability, today Iran would be in prosperity. If women are given chances, they can build the country. Allah has given the ability to Iranian men and women”.
“In my opinion, all Iranians, including ethnic and religious communities, are among the best people in the world; some may be upset with my these words but I say such things openly, “the president of Darululoom Zahedan expressed his views.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid referred to the ocean of Nowrooz in Iran and said: “May Allah bestow the best blessings on the people of Iran in the new year. I hope that Allah will solve the problems and concerns of the Iranian people”.
“May Allah solve the problems of the people of Palestine and Gaza and other oppressed people of the world. I hope that the Palestinian people will determine their own destiny, the Iranian top Sunni leader referred to the critical situation of the people of Gaza.
Corruption has targeted the treasury and national funds
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan called the corruption as a big problem in Iran and said: “Unfortunately, corruption has targeted the treasury and national funds; this is very dangerous”.
“Corruption is the root of all problems. Corruption has penetrated in places that were not expected at all, he believed.
Support the Darululoom and the Grand Makki Mosque, financially
At the end of his speech shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on the people of Iran to help the Darululoom and the Makki Mosque of Zahedan, with financial services.
He said: “Today, the country is facing various crises, including the economic crisis. Scientific and religious centers are also in crisis”.
He added: “I would like to recommend you to help the seminaries financially. Support the poor, needy and imprisoned families.
The final works of the Grand Makki mosque are about to be completed.”
“Pay special attention to the mosque and participate in this ongoing charity, “he urged.
