Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi:

Blasphemers to Holy Qur’an Want to Measure Faith & Action of Muslims

Blasphemers to Holy Qur’an Want to Measure Faith & Action of Muslims

Referring to the repeat of blasphemous acts against the holy Qur’an in some European countries, the Iranian Sunni Mufti reacted to this sinister act and strongly denounced it, saying: “Unfortunately we heard that some countries have been issued permission to blaspheme the Holy Qur’an again; the most sacred divine book. We strongly condemn blaspheming the holy Qur’an and ask Muslims to have a new approach towards the Qur’an.”
Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi was talking to tens of thousands of people before the Friday prayers in Zahedan’s Grand Musalla on Aug 4, 2023.
“Those who blaspheme the Holy Qur’an, the holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Companions, they pursue two goals. They want to test the faith and zeal of Muslims to see how they react, or they want to observe the actions of Muslims; they think that Muslims have distanced from the holy Qur’an, and they are not following the instructions and orders of the Qur’an.”
“As we condemn blaspheming the holy Qur’an, we must also have a new approach towards the Qur’an. We should be in the service of the holy Qur’an with our wealth and merit, and we have a duty to preach this sacred book. On behalf of all scholars, I would like to ask you that there should be no day in which you do not recite the holy Qur’an and do not follow its instructions,” Shaikh Qasemi further said.
“The Caliph Omar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to hold the Qur’an on his chest and would say: this is the book of Allah, the charter and advice of the Lord, and the prescription of happiness and honor. The Caliph ‘Othman, may Allah be pleased with him, always recited the holy Qur’an and used to say: A healthy heart cannot get enough of reading the holy Qur’an,” he added.

A true believer must practice all branches of Islam
Mufti Mohammad Qasim Qasemi inspired Muslims to practice all branches of the religion of Islam and said: “Allah Almighty wants Muslims to fully enter in Islam and practice all instructions of the holy Qur’an and Sunnah in all affairs. As Muslims, we must completely bring all the divine commandments in the life.”
Pointing out the characteristics of a true, real, and perfect Muslim, the senior teacher of Hadith and Fiqh of Darululoom Zahedan encouraged Muslims to act on all Islamic verdicts with enthusiasm, love, and honesty and to bring all branches of Islam in practice.
“Allah Almighty addresses those who have not committed disbelief, polytheism, and hypocrisy, and says: Enter Islam completely and be a true and a perfect Muslim. There are Muslims who practice only some parts of Islam. According to the view of Islamic commentators, Islam has five famous branches; beliefs, worships, transactions, socialization and ethics. All these five branches must be Islamic and according to the instructions of the Qur’an and Sunnah,” said Mufti Muhammad Qasem.
“Our worships should be for the sake of Allah and based on the rules of the holy Qur’an and Sunnah. In transactions, we must obey the rule of Islam. Our way of life and our dealing with people including with family, neighbors, relatives, and other classes should be Islamic. The holy Prophet says: A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands the Muslims are safe. Our ethics should also be Islamic and Qur’anic,” he added more.
Chairman of Darul-Ifta of Darululoom Zahedan went on to describe the characteristics of a real Muslim and said: “If a Muslim does not perform well in each of these five branches, his faith is not complete. A Muslim, who takes usury, takes bribes, mixes lawful\halal with haram in his transactions, commits injustice, this shows that this Muslim is impure in his faith. Allah Almighty does not like impurity. He wants us to live as a true and as a pure Muslim.”
“In the beginning verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah describes the attributes of pious Muslims and hypocrites. He describes the attributes and characteristics of the hypocrites in more detail than two other groups, because the hypocrites hit Muslims and the religion more than the rest of disbelievers. Unfortunately, today, our deeds and bad actions caused Non-Muslims to hate Islam,” he said.
“We must adhere to the principles of Islam in any case, anywhere and at any time. If our interests, fame, families, and close relatives are in danger, and if we are threatened, we should also remain as a real Muslim. In the interpretation of the verse (208) of the chapter Al-Baqarah (O you who believe enter Islam completely), Mawlana Nadwi, may Allah have mercy on him, says: peace has two meanings: Islam and peace; it means to enter Islam completely,” said Mufti Muhammad Qasem during his Friday sermons of Zahedan.
“If you disobey Allah’s command, which is considered a kind of war with God, return to Allah and do not obey Satan’s steps,” he added more.

We condemn the bloody explosion in Pakistan’ Bajaur
Reacting to the recent deadly explosion at the convention of Jamiat Ulama Islam of Pakistan in Bajaur Agency, while denouncing this action, the Iranian Grand Sunni Mufti said: “A bloody incident took place in Pakistan. More than 60 people were martyred and more than 200 were injured in the explosion in a religious meeting.”
“First, we condemn such actions of any movement. Secondly, these actions have no any conformity with Islam. No one should say that Islamists did this action, because those who do these things, they do not know anything about Islam and want to defame Islam and attack this sacred religion,” said Shaikh Qasemi.
While asking Allah for forgiveness for the martyrs and hoping the healing for the wounded, he expressed his deepest condolences with the families of the victims, the survivors, Muslims of Pakistan, and free people of the world.

The case of Zahedan’s Bloody Friday has been following up
In the last part of his Friday speech of Zahedan, the chairman of Darul-Ifta of Darululoom Zahedan referred to Zahedan’s Bloody Friday case and said: “The case of Zahedan’s Bloody Friday has been following up through legal means. The families of the martyrs and the injured who have not yet completed their cases should refer to Darululoom for guidance.”
“We also expect the authorities to be transparent about these cases and speed up their handling,” he underlined.
