Shaikh Abdol-Ghani Badri in the Friday prayer ceremony of Zahedan:

Obeying Allah & Benefiting His Creatures, Two Branches of Faith

Obeying Allah & Benefiting His Creatures, Two Branches of Faith

Pointing out to importance of following the laws of Shari’ah and significance of cooperating with people, Shaikh Abdol-Ghani Badri described these characters as branches of faith, before the Friday prayers of Zahedan in March 26, 2021.

The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan stated: “Faith has two branches: obeying the laws of Allah and kindness to His creatures. Whoever has these two attributes, s/he is successful; if one of them is weak, faith will be affected”.

“If we love Allah, we should do what God has commanded us in both religious and material affairs”, said the eminent teacher of Hadith and Tafsir of Darululoom Zahedan.

“Monotheism is one of the commands of God and it’s denying the worship of others. Believers love God with all their hearts remember Him all the time; whoever loves God very much, remembers Him all the time”, Shaikh Badri further stated.

He added: “God has created all blessings for mankind; mankind should thank God for His all blessings and attribute them to God”.

The interim Friday Imam of the Sunnis in Zahedan continued: “All creatures are God’s servants. The best of you is the one who has mercy on the creatures of God.”

He continued: “The righteous people spend their wealth on the way of God. They help widows, orphans, homeless families, the needy and the poor. The Caliph Omar, may God bless him and grant him peace, even considered himself responsible for animals and said that if an animal dies of thirst, I am responsible for that.”

Shaikh Badri added: “Faith has several branches; the lowest branch of faith is removing a harmful thing from the path of people.”

“The believers have two duties towards God’s creation: solving people’s problems and benefiting them”.

Shaikh Badri emphasized on importance of paying Zakat and said: “Whoever loves God in heart, s/he pays Zakat of his/her property.”

He believed that paying Zakat during the month of Ramadan is more beneficial for people.

The roads must be standard
Referring to people’s trips during the Nowruz holidays and road accidents, Shaikh Badri said: “Unfortunately, driving regulations in the country, especially in Sistan-Baluchistan, are not followed; it could be said that the casualties of road accidents in the province is as the number of casualties on the battlefield and more than the casualties of the COVID 19.”

He continued: “Despite the promises of the officials, the road problems in the province have not been solved yet.”

The senior teacher of Hadith and Tafsir of Darululoom Zahedan referred to the false promises of the candidates during election campaigns and said: “Candidates make promises during the election period to solve people’s problems, but unfortunately they do not keep their promises”.

“Road problems have not been solved for several years. Some roads are very narrow and far away from standards which need to be rebuilt,” he added more.

Country’s wealth must be spent on the welfare of the people
The vice Friday Imam of Zahedan believed that the parliament representatives of the province have a duty to help the people. He said that they should convey the call of the oppressed people of Sistan-Baluchistan to the parliament. People have the right to enjoy their lives and have safe roads.

He urged that the authorities should resolve this problem with full determination and asked the drivers to drive with caution.

Shaikh Badri insisted on following the rules of driving etiquettes and said: ‘Breaking the driving rules is a crime’.

“If a driver does not follow the rules and causes death, he/she has committed a murder”, he believed.

Mawlana Badri further forbade of taking photos and videos of corpses in road accidents, calling it as an ugly and shameful act and an insult to human beings.

Killing innocents is the biggest crime
Reacting to the murder of a young man in Zahedan who was killed on the way to mosque, Shaikh Abdol-Ghani said: “Killing an innocent person is the worst phenomenon. According to the Qur’an, whoever kills a believer, his/her place is the Hell, he/she will stay in the Hell forever, God’s curse is on him and God has prepared a severe punishment for him/her.”

Shaikh Badri further urged on observing the rights of people and the rights of Allah the Almighty.

“When God’s right is not respected, people become cruel and they don’t observe the rights of each other”, he said.
