Shaikh Abdol-Hamid in the Friday prayer ceremony of Zahedan:

Prayers & Zakat Purify Soul

Prayers & Zakat Purify Soul

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the arrival of the months of Sha’ban and Ramadan and the spiritual deeds of these months in his Friday speech of March 12, 2021 and urged on the importance of offering prayers and paying Zakah, believing that these deeds purify the soul.

The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “The month of Rajab is going to an end and the month of Sha’ban and then the holy month of Ramadan are coming. These are the months of purification and reform. We should all think about the purification of our soul and think of how to reform ourselves”.

President of Darululoom Zahedan considered fasting as one of the most important kinds of worship of these months. He said that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH did not fast in any month as much as he did in the month of Sha’ban.

“Another very effective worship is paying Zakat and alms in the way of Allah. We will not be considered among righteous people, unless we give alms”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.

He added more: “It is a pity that the rich people do not spend money in the way of Allah and they don’t help poor, needy and families of prisoners and so on”.

While inspiring the worshippers to spend their money to help others, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Spending in the way of Allah has a big reward. This is dangerous if Zakat of the property is not paid. Such wealth will be against the person on the Day of Judgment”.

President of Darululoom Zahedan emphasized: “Take care of yourself and have control on it. The strongest and most successful person is the one who overcomes him/herself”.

“The conqueror is not the one who defeats troops and conquers lands, but the real conqueror and successful hero is the one who controls his/her ego and forces him/her to obey Allah”, said the eminent Sunni scholar of Iran.
“In these months, which are the months of purification and reform, we cannot overcome the self without giving alms in the way of Allah and without offering prayers and doing good deeds,” Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said.

“Alas! Some people enjoy the blessings of knowledge, wealth and health and they have physical strength, but they don’t benefit others from their knowledge, wealth and ability,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.

He continued: “We should all express our sympathy with others and benefit all human beings and even animals”.

President of Darululoom Zahedan said: “It is stated in the Hadith that whoever does not have mercy on Allah’s creatures, Allah will not have mercy on him; and whoever has mercy on Allah’s creatures, Allah will have mercy on him.”
“Allah loves those who care about the interests of others, and help them if they need.” he added more.

“Fortunately, the process of peace negotiations has been inaugurated in Afghanistan in recent years. Establishing security for both sides in this country is possible only through negotiations”, said the Friday Imam of Zahedan while expressing his happiness with the process of peace negotiations in Afghanistan.

“The people of Afghanistan have the right to live in peace, security and tranquility; they need to work together for the development of their country”, the eminent Sunni scholar of Sistan-Baluchistan said.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid continued: “Peace can be established in Afghanistan when both parties show mercy to each other and think about the interests of their country”.

Yemen’s differences should be resolved through negotiations
Pointing out to the war situation in Yemen, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Yemen belongs to the Yemenis and no one else. Unfortunately, Yemen is in a dire situation; children and adults are dying of hunger.”

The Iranian Sunnis’ leader continued: “The war, clashes and bombings have no result other than damages and harm to the Yemeni people.”

“Instead of fighting with each other, the Yemeni people should negotiate and make efforts for a comprehensive government that respects the rights of all”, said the Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to the crises that Islamic countries have been facing for years, believing that all these crises are due to the divisions among Muslims.

“The divisions among Islamic countries have dangerous consequences; these divisions have caused the enemies to abuse such situations,” said Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid completed his points by saying: “The Islamic countries must be united to eliminate insecurity and conflict in the Middle East. To bring peace in the Muslim countries, the dignity and respect of all should be persevered”.
