Shaikh Abdol-Hamid described negligence as the main factor of depriving life of peace.
Addressing thousands of worshippers before Friday prayers in Zahedan’s central mosque on September 11, 2020 Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Many see the happiness in the strong economy and in the amenities of life. Many think that they will not be punished if they commit any crime or sin in the world. These two views are wrong”.
Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan continued: “Satan instructs people to commit sins and inspires them that Allah is merciful and forgiving. No one can oppose Satan unless s/he seeks refuge in Allah and Allah forgives him/her by His grace”.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid added: “If a person breaks God’s command, he will be punished by Him”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “New and restful houses will not bring comfort to humans; many powerful people including presidents, ministers and politicians don’t feel rest with the best of facilities. Sometimes some people face some problems in a way that they hate the life and want to commit suicide. Hitler was one of the world’s biggest powerful rulers; he committed suicide at the height level of his power, when he failed”.
“Committing suicide is one of the consequences of deviating from Allah’s remembrance. When the life is not in accordance with nature, it becomes uncomfortable. Obedience to Allah is the remembrance of Allah and it’s according to the nature. When a person is far away from Allah, he fails and reaches a dead end,” he added more.
Sunnis’ Friday Imam of Zahedan said: “The companions of the Holy Prophet PBUH lived in slum and mud houses; but they were in such a peace and had such a clean life that no one in the world has today. With the dispatch of the Holy Prophet PBUH, the companions felt new life. They were happy that they had found the way of Allah with the dispatch of the Holy Prophet PBUH. Their hearts were full of faith and piety, but today’s Muslims, who are not doing their duty and have left the path of the companions behind, are facing all kinds of problems. All these problems and troubles are the result of human’s actions. Today, many Muslims do not pay Zakat; they do not perform Hajj and violate people’s rights”.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid continued his speech by mentioning Islam as the best gift of Allah the Almighty and said: “Islam is our biggest honor and wealth. We must save and guard our religion. We must always be aware that Satan wants to force us to commit sin. He instructs to disobedience of Allah through cunning”.
He added: “When Allah commanded the Holy Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, to slaughter Isma’eel in the way of Allah, Prophet Ibrahim preferred to follow the command of Allah for his son”.
The best charity is to be given in health and before death
The Friday leader of Zahedan continued his speech by encouraging people to spend their money and wealth in right ways.
“Spend your wealth before your property is taken away from you and you go empty-handed to Allah; where Allah does not accept any excuse. Allah says to His servant: ‘I gave you wealth, why didn’t you pay Zakat and alms in the way of God? What excuse do you have for me to forgive you?’ Why are we cruel to ourselves?!” Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said.
“The best charity is to give in health and when you love and need it. One of the most important things that makes a person righteous is spending wealth in the way of Allah”, Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said.
He continued: “There are orphans everywhere, widows, families of prisoners, poor students, and unbuilt mosques that we can spend our money on such ways.”
He urged that a Muslim should spend his/her money with sincerity and just for Allah’s sake.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid inspired worshippers for good deeds by saying: “All classes of the society should fear Allah, recite the Holy Qur’an and act on the Shari’ah. Be a true Muslim and do not be a Muslim only by name”.
“Be modest, save your eyes, control your tongue and return to the path of the righteousness so that you may be safe from the torment of the grave” he added more.
The most influential scholar of Sunnis in Iran continued: “Hell is not only for the infidels, but Allah will send the sinners, the oppressors and the Muslims who forgot Him and forgot the Holy Qur’an, to the hell. Fear the torment of God that makes life bitter, and fear the torment of hell. If we do good deeds, Allah will give us a comfortable, clean and pure life because of following the Holy Qur’an and following the character and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Modesty, a branch of the big tree of Islam
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid described modesty as the biggest morality and said: “Modesty is one of the branches of the big tree of Islam. It is mentioned in the hadith that faith has more than seventy branches and modesty is one of the branches of faith”.
“Modesty is the best adornment for men and women. A woman who is deprived of the blessings of modesty has no value, despite all her beauty and wealth”, said Shaikh Abdol-Hamid.
He added: “Shame prevents from disobedience of Allah’s commands. Shame means that we see God’s blessings and feel shame to disobey Allah. Indecency strikes faith, while modesty strengthens faith. Modesty, honesty, trustworthiness, and humility must be maintained and strengthened, as other morals and beliefs.”
French Magazine’s Blasphemy Boosts Terrorism & Extremism
Strongly denouncing French magazine ‘Charlie Hebdo’ for republishing offensive cartoons of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called such actions as aiding extremism and terrorism in the world.
“I strongly condemn the dangerous insult of a French magazine to the beloved prophet of Islam and overlord of the entire world, Sayyidana Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),” the Iranian Sunnis’ leader said.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan stated: “There is no law in the world that has given human beings “absolute freedom” that some people offend and insult others under the pretext of freedom. The real freedom doesn’t allow anyone to insult humanity”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Such a freedom in which the feelings of more than one and a half billion Muslims and other free people of the world are hurt, is not freedom and such a freedom is condemned.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out: “As Muslims are not allowed to insult the sanctities of any sect or religion by the order of the Holy Qur’an that has warned Muslims to not insult false idols, others should also not be allowed to insult the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet PBUH.”
“When Muslims have such a view and method, why some are allowed to insult the sanctities of Muslims in Western and European countries?” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid questioned.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan urged: “Those who insult the sanctities of religions, in fact they are supporters of the terrorism and they boost extremism in the world.”
“Insulting the sanctities is a kind of terrorism and it is in contrary to the security and peace of the world and the countries in which these insults take place”, the outstanding scholar of Sunnis in Iran said.
