Pounak Prayer-room should Return to its First Shape

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his thanks on sympathy of different figures and associations following the demolition of Pounak prayer-room with the Sunni community of Iran, calling on the Iranian officials to resolve this issue discreetly.
“SunniOnline” reports, Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan, Iran, was talking to tens of thousands worshipers on Friday 07 August, 2015.
In a part of his sermon, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said, “The biggest challenges of Muslims in the Middle East and other regions are extremism, sectarian divisions and clashes.”
“Due to these challenges, in many Muslim states the respectable places such as Masjids, Husseiniyas and other worship places are targeted. However, the religious places must be in peace and no one is allowed to assault on them”, he added more.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan called the demolition of Pounak prayer-room ‘unexpected’ and said, “Sunnis didn’t expect such an incident. In the last week, many domestic and foreign personalities and organizations expressed their condolences and sympathy with the Sunni community of Iran following the demolition of the prayer-room. We are grateful and expect the issue would be resolved.”
He said, “The tolerant nation of Iran, including Shias and Sunnis, expect the piteous officials and reins of the current government to follow up the case of Pounak prayer-room; this anxiety must be over.”
“Probably the destroyers of Pounak prayer-room have some pretexts for their act, but as Allah knows well, in all Sunni masjids and prayer-rooms only worship is the aim; there has not been anything against Shias and the regime”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
Strongly rebuffing a rumor about ‘nine Sunni mosques’ in Tehran, he made it clear, “Some elements spread rumors that there are nine Masjids for Sunnis in Tehran city. While, they are only rental houses for offering prayers in congregation, where 30 to 100 worshipers offer prayers; they belong to common people which can be changed.”
Urging on fraternity and unity, the chairman of CCSS said, “Fraternity is very important and vital. By the grace of Allah, all Sunnis in Iran believe in brotherhood and proximity of Muslims inside and outside of the country. We think Muslims should be united in the world. We go on the path of unity and national security. We want unity of Iran with other Muslim states, too.”
Concluding his points, he said, “Pounak prayer-room must return to its previous condition. We are sure the elites of the regime were not satisfied and aware of the matter. They should give us chance of thanking after criticizing on the demolition. I’d like to call on worshipers to make Du’a and carry out good deeds for getting rid of this problem.”

Reporters’ duty to reflex correct news & incidents
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to Reporters’ Day in Iran and said, “I congratulate Reporters’ Day to all reporters, journalists and correspondents who have a serious and dangerous duty in the society. They should reflex and convey only correct news and incidents; it is the responsibility of a reporter in each society.”
“This class of society, if carries out its duties correctly and avoids incorrect reports, it will be the best service for humanity and nation,” he pointed.
