Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdul Hameed talked about fear of Allah and the bad affects of sins in his latest Friday sermon in grand Makki mosque of Zahedan.After reciting the Quranic verses:
“and who, if they did evil thing or wrong with themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins and who can forgive sins but God, and did not insist on what they have done, their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens which rivers flow underneath , and a nice reward for workers,”
Imam and khateeb of the Sunnis in the city of Zahedan, pointed to the importance of piety saying, “It is one of the most important things that have been made, and emphasized by the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Messengers particularly the Sunnah of Holy prophet صلی اللہ علیه وسلم, is the fear of the Lord.”
“You should know that all the problems and crises arise because of sin, guilt, and waste of God’s rights and people, as a result of these sins there is the negligence and lack of fear of Allah Almighty. Most of the times we exercise unlawful work, and we commit sin, but there is no thinking at least for a second that what would be the result of such deeds and what are the consequences of such acts?” He added.
The eminent Islamic scholar said more that the slip of once committed by Adam علیه السلام resulted to bring him down along with his wife from the heaven to the earth.
: “فَدَلَّاهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآَتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَنْ تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُلْ لَكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ”.
So he misled them with deception. Then when they tasted of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their shame (private parts) became manifest to them and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called out to them (saying): “Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Satan is an open enemy unto you”
He continued saying, “God taught us that if we want to go back and enter heaven again, we have to leave the sins, have fear of God and thus we can prevent it from the fire of the hell, and we must think about the consequences of sin, and the immortal power of the Lord, His punishment on sinful people; because all the misdeeds are committed due to having no fear of God, that’s why it is the most important wealth for Muslims.”
Eminent Shaikh went on saying, “Nowadays what we see that some heads of the Muslim countries are plagued with different kinds of difficulties and now they are worried deeply; that’s all is due to their bad deeds, and it is the result of mistakes committed by them in their lives. Now publics of such countries have come out to the field shouting and chanting against their rulers, they have robbed their comfort. These dictators did not listen to the advice of mentors and continued their mistakes wasting the rights of the oppressed people; For that, today they are infected with anxiety and turmoil as a result of their sins.”
Sheikh Abdul Hameed further said that on the day of Resurrection when Allah almighty admit the criminals into the hell, and mention their sins, they would be saying, “O grief at the losers”, when criminals sees their sins and the darkness of the sins, there will be high raised cries in the fire, they would see black marks on their faces from sin and guilt.
Sheikh advised the audience saying that what every person should take care of, is to account the rights of every one and be careful of sound mind and not indulged with arrogance as well as vanity, Allah almighty is our creator, He has bestowed us all the things; so we have to do the rights of Lord, and sacrifice ourselves and our money for Him, because He is the real owner of our money and each and every thing; in addition to it, we must be humbled and apologize to Him.
The rector of the largest Sunni seminary in Iran indicated towards some bad cultures imported from the West, saying, “It is so regrettable that there have been many means and new easy sources for sins in our time; though these tools have advantages but people misuse them, they caused sin and darkness because of negligence, TV channels and mobile phones which facilitated communication, eased access to sins and guilt and falling into the traps of spoilers.”
Sheikh Abdul Hameed at the end of his sermon, pointed to the culture of friendship between young men and women declaring such relations the habit of the Western which spread in Muslim societies, it is absolutely sin forbidden in Islam. He urged parents to take care of their children and try to save them from the web of cunning persons.
