Shaikh-ul-Islam: Sins may Cause Insecurity in Societies
molana_28The prominent Sunni scholar of Iran and khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan talked about sin in his latest Friday sermon and highlighted its bad impact on the human characteristic both individually and socially.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed began his speech by recitation of the verse 120 from al-An’aam chapter and said that Almighty Allah is the most powerful and al-Muntaqim (the Avenger); if His slaves commit sins, He can punish them. There is no any other choice for people but to repent and return towards Allah.
He added more, ‘After asking forgiveness a person would be alighted by doing Tawbah from the angriness of Almighty Allah; doing good deeds is recommended which makes repenter worthy of the Almighty’s complete forgiveness.
Talking to tens of thousands worshipers in the Grand Makki masjid of Zahedan, Shaikh urged that a person who committed sin then repented can not be equal to a person who has not committed any sin; because the former one can be safe from punishment of Allah but bad affects of misdeeds are difficult to be removed.

Mistake of a group may harm a nation:

Indicating towards the battle of Ohod, Mawlana Abdul Hameed emphasized saying, ‘Mistake and fault of a group may harm the whole nation and cause them to be defeated by their enemy. Sins are very dangerous and harmful weather they are committed individually or socially.’
He further said that everybody must avoid from the external and internal sins and misdeeds. Arrogance, stinginess and envy as well as gossip and telling lie are such crimes. Love of wealth and children must not dominate the love of Almighty Allah and His prophet Muhammad (PBUH). No one should damage the rights of Allah and His creatures.

Allah punishes some criminals to make them exemplary:

Respectable Shaikh pointed towards the sequel of Hosni Mubarak and ongoing situation of some Muslim states, saying, ‘The admonitory end of some rulers like Hosni Mubark is the fruit of their deeds and cruel acts they practiced on their masses. Some other dictators are about to collapse; Col. Qaddafi, Bashar Asad and Ali Abdullah Saleh as well as all rulers must know that the end of destroyers of people’s rights is very exemplary. This world is not for penalty but Almighty Allah punishes some criminals to be a lesson for the rest.’
Declaring ‘carelessness’ over worshiping the Only Allah and other divine duties a big sin, khateeb of Sunnis more said that many people are careless about their children, their education and Islamic upbringing; parents cannot imagine their sons and daughters are involved in which sort of faults. Vice has become so common in societies; parents must take care of children with more attention and caution, mobile phones and Internet play a very affective role in this regard. ‘You should not have distrust but being careful is must,’ he added.
Talking over ‘modesty’, Shaikh Abdul Hameed urged, ‘Modesty is one of the greatest parts of faith (Eeman) as the holy Prophet stated. It leads males and females towards good deeds and hijab as well as chastity. Muslims should obey Allah anywhere they are, weather in their homelands or in France, the US and such other countries. The rules of Allah are superior to any other rule.’
