Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed Ismaeelzahi, put the directions and orders of Allah Almighty in accordance with the safe human nature and the secret of human being’s prosperity in the last Friday of 2012’s Holy Ramadan.
Talking to thousands of worshippers in the Grand Makki Masjid of Zahedan, he added more, ‘All divine instructions and prophetic directions are ways for our success and salvation. Allah, the Sublime, bestowed us these great blessings to make us prosperous in the both worlds. So we must imitate all of those brilliant teachings of Allah and His messenger. Allah has asked people to have true beliefs and adopt only His directions for an honorable life.’
The member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars further said that Allah had ordered people to act upon Islamic commands because the real life is only with those directions; those who neglect Allah’s teachings are dead in fact. Misdeeds cause Allah’s anger and punishment. If any nation gets any path except Allah’s way, her fate will be naught and death. Such people may enjoy advanced tools of this mortal world but their end will be death due to their adversity.
He pointed more saying, ‘The divine teachings of Exalted Allah adapt human nature; people’s prosperity is behind the bright directions of Shari’ah. The Companions of Holy Prophet had a respectful life across the world thanks to acting upon Shari’ah in each and every angle of life. They were guardians of justice and due rights of everyone. Saying the truth clearly is one of the important teachings of Islam that leads people towards an honorable life.’
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan went on to say that all deeds of a Muslim such as talking, fasting, giving Zakah, offering prayers and other worships should be for the sake of Allah. A sane person always brings Allah’s commands into actions, even if any of them goes against his/her will. As Sahabah accepted the conditions at the Hudaibiya Compact, it was apparently against Muslims’ interests. They achieved victory because of their submission before Allah and His messenger.
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi urged saying the aim of fasting in Ramadan and other worships is to make people obedient; piety and submission in front of Allah are the goals of Ramadan. Holy Ramadan is about to be over; the question is that have we managed to get rid of the Hellfire? Have we got the benefits of Ramadan? It should purify our souls and deeds.
Muslim world’s uprisings inspired by public resistance in Palestine
In the second part of his speech, the eminent Islamic scholar indicated towards the Al-Quds Day in Iran, saying that revolutions in the Muslim world have got lesson from the people’s resistance in Palestine for freedom.
He pointed more, ‘No doubt the Palestine Issue is the biggest crisis for Muslim masses; the occupation of Quds and massacring of Palestinians are open dilemmas. Although it was a very panic incident; but if we probe the Iranian nation’s revolt and other anti-despotism movement in the Muslim world, we will observe that all of them got lesson from the public resistance of Palestinian.’
One of the main reasons that people of Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Syria took to streets and threatened dictators is the issue of Palestine and occupation of Bait al-Maqdes. The Palestine issue hurt the honor and feelings of the Muslim Nation; Muslim masses were exhausted from the dependent and despot rulers. While the Western states including the US have been supporting and equipping Israel by all sorts of weapons and materials. Injustice and support of Zionist regime by the west exploded those public revolutions, Shaikh added more.
Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah expressed his views more saying, ‘Muslims have decided firmly to step down opinionated regimes. Despotism must go away and Muslim states should be ruled over by elected parties and selected men by nations. Justice must be implemented in elections. Only independent regimes can rule in the Middle East which should not be puppets of other powers.
