True believers comply with Islamic rules unconditionally

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed declared “religion” the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty which has no similar over the world.
Talking to tens of thousand worshipers in the grand Makki mosque of Zahedan, Shaikh began his Friday sermon by recitation of the verse: “وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا”:

[And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allâh (i.e. follows Allâh’s religion of Islâmic Monotheism); and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer – see V.2:112). And follows the religion of Ibrâhim[] (Abraham) Hanifa (Islâmic Monotheism – to worship none but Allâh Alone). And Allâh did take Ibrâhim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend)!] And said more, ‘Religiosity and practicing religion were started with the creation of Adam (Alaihissalam). Adam was the first person who conducted upon religion and called others towards it. Since the very initial days of this world, “religion” or “Deen” has been coming as a beautiful and acceptable word among people.’

He pointed out that Deen means to comply with the rules and orders of Allah Almighty and being submissive. Religion is the need of everyone and this is the secret of salvation and success in both of the worlds.

The eminent Islamic scholar urged that all of the prophets, Awliya (saints) and holy persons achieved strong tie with Allah via religion. Deen is the only path which makes everyone near to Allah. Many of us want to be perfect and real religious persons to get the willingness of Allah. So we should imitate the direction of Allah and remain submissive before the divine rules; such people have a strong and best religion. The true obedient people accept Islam completely without any condition; such believers do not say that if they accept Islam what would happen with their forefathers’ religion and their customs and traditions. Rather they are proud to be believer and they obey all rules of Islam in their whole angles of life, the true believers are ready to give the sacrifice of family members and property in this way.

Explaining the reality of the religion, Shaikh Abdul Hameed emphasized that full obedience of the religion meekly, is true deen. If somebody does not ask the ‘reasons’ and rationales behind the orders; then s/he is a true Muslim. As Abraham (Alaihissalam) left his family in a dry-land and arid valley, just in order to imitate the order of his Lord, Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), and he did not ask Allah for the possible reasons. Again, he took his son Esmaeel to Mina to slaughter him obeying his Creator, Allah Almighty. Son and father were complied with the divine behest absolutely.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said, ‘No doubt, being aware of rationales behind the divine rules is a good knowledge. But the best is that to have faith that all divine orders are based on some logical reasons and there is any wisdom; whether we know that philosophy or not, in all circumstances we must follow the rules and obey them. Paying Zakah increases the amount of property, so if you pay the due amount to the deserving persons, you will get more benefits; paying zakat is not loss of property, rather not paying is the real loss.’

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah added more that a person who implements all rules of Islam in his each section of life is a perfect religious person. If there is offer to get usury or bribery, no one should take such money. Run away from such things and from the places of sins as Yousuf (Alaihissalam) ran away and did not pay any attention to sin.

At the end, Shaikh counted the characteristics of true believers and emphasized that successful nations desist from sins and disobedience. The powerful nation is the one who has strong faith (Eaman) and comply with all principles of the religion, so be away from all sorts of sins.
