‘Missing Liberties Caused Revolution in Iran’
molana_21Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed began his Friday sermon by reciting few verses of Al-Alaq chapter and enlightened the root causes of arrogance and overconfidence.

He counted sons, tribe, race, knowledge, money, wealth and power as the root reasons on arrogance.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed added more, “This is the nature of human beings, they forget legal and illegal (halal and haram) when they enjoy power and rule over the country and people, taking pleasure in ruling, most of them forget resurrection, they fail to remember the day when masses disarm them from power. All the dictators should learn from their predecessors.’’

Root causes of Iran’s revolution in 1979:
Indicating towards the anniversary of Iran’s public revolution, the eminent Sunni leader said, “Anniversary of our public revolution encountered slogans for changes in Middle East and revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt. We should think over the reasons of these movements against regimes.”
Declaring different kinds of bans, such as none is allowed to speak openly, as well as nobody of politicians can express their point of views in a free atmosphere as similarly other critical policies caused the public revolution in 1979 and more added that no one was allowed to criticize king of Iran (Shah), it was “red line” according to his intelligence department.
“There was no political party in Iran except “Shah”, the elections were conducted just to cheat people and the world, as the result was always in favor of ruling party! A part of this, masses were so poor living under poverty line, that is why the Iranian nation decided to bring down the regime of Shah, while he was sure that he would be king of Iran!” Shaikh added.

Revolution in Tunisia and Egypt:
The great Muslim scholar made it clear that ‘dictatorship’ and ban on ‘freedom of speech’, are the main reasons which had created the great public movement and forced them to revolutionise dictators.
He urged that ‘freedom’ is the honor of people, when the dictators of Egypt and Tunisia kept the masses deprived of  their rights, and they banned on legal criticism, so the result of such cruel acts as well cam before of any one, and now millions of people have come out on roads protesting against the dictator regimes.
‘How a person can remain silent when he sees wrong acts of the rulers? Shaikh asked.
Mawlana Abdul Hameed further said that mostly elections held by governments in the Muslim countries are not reliable, apparently democratic elections were held in Egypt and Tunisia but in fact the apparent efforts were quite fraud nothing else; as the ruling parties were the only winners in each election.
“Dictatorship is one of the biggest crises in Muslim countries, the masses of Iran came out on roads in 1979 and brought revolution to get freedom and liberation, ‘Shah’ listened the voice of the nation when it was so late, the same event happened with ‘Bin Ali’ and ‘Hosni Mubarak’, dictators must listen masses on time,” Khateeb of Sunnis pointed.
He added more that if governments deprive people from their common liberties and ban on media, such revolutions may take them out of power too with in few days.

Causes of insecurity in Sistan-Balochistan:
“Ahl-us-Sunna in Iran extremely demands their national and religious rights, provincial rulers must know the root causes of insecurity in Balochistan, certainly they are prejudicial policies of the state such policies are neither goodwill for the country nor it goes in the favor of our pure religion; we have been being kept deprived of our religious and national rights,’ Shaikh-ul-Islam urged.
He further said, ‘When a person feels himself stranger in his own homeland and faces in every step discriminatory acts, at the result ‘violence’ will remain his only option.’
“Some elements have been trying to increase pressures on the Sunni community in Iran, once our seminaries come under attack, meanwhile the rulers ban on offering prayers with congregation inside houses and some places in Shia-majority cities of Iran, even some officials told Sunni worshipers: “Now you offer prayers, then you become terrorists!” offering prayers is not terrorism; stopping worshipers is an act which shows people the way of violence,” Shaikh emphasized.
At the end, great leader of Sunnis urged that Sunni citizens will protect their homeland Iran, no one should try to take away Sunnis from their civilian rights, by the help of Allah almighty we never keep silent over violation of our legal rights and we will not compromise to discriminative policies and acts of the governments.
