The prominent leader of the Sunni community in Iran, Mawlana Abdul Hameed delivering the Friday sermon in Makki mosque of Zahedan called the believers to protect them selves as well as their families from the fire of hell, as it has come in Al-Tahreem chapter verse, no 6. Surely Allah almighty addresses us in this holy verse by the title of ‘Mumin’ to secure yourself and your family members from the fire of Hell.
Shaikh more added that the fire of Hell which is named “Nar” in the holy Quran is a horrible fire not like the fire of this mortal world, certainly it is prepared to punish those people who do not obey their creator Allah almighty and revolting from the right path of greatest God cross all the boundaries. Now days, it is a serious problem that no one seems to be afraid of such a fire, even Muslims; they just hear about Hell, in fact we believe in one God as well as all the orders given by Allah subhanahoo wa taala, but we are not so stronger believers as the prophet’s companions were.
Talking about the danger of sins Mawlana Abdul Hameed further said: “oppressing and injustice and more other ones mostly cause to the punishment of Allah almighty, in the same way fire of Hell is the result of the sins of people; whatever we do mistakes while listening or seeing, as our holy prophet صلی اللہ علیه وسلم clearly taught us that all the natural disasters e.g. earthquakes, floods and hurricane which affect any part of the world is because of the sins of human beings.”
He urged that by repentance towards Allah almighty and Estegfar (استغفار seeking forgiveness from Allah almighty) we can save ourselves from the divine punishment and calamities. Repentance is the only solution of human being’s crises.
Describing the other concepts of the above mentioned verse of Holy Quran, rector of Darululoom Zahedan more said “Holy Quran addresses us to keep our selves far away from crimes and all the sins, at the same time we must fulfill our religious responsibilities as Quran orders us. As well as we should take care of our children and subordinate persons; to save them from deviation from the right path.
“Some people regularly come to masjid and standing in the first line offer prayers, but their children are not habitual to do their religious duties in masjid, such fathers do not know where their sons are” Shaikh more added.
The eminent Sunni scholar pointed that some parents wake up for Fajr prayers meanwhile their family members: sons, daughters and sons-in-law are asleep; such persons how follow the order of Allah almighty? Some parents say that their children would do “Tawbah” after becoming older! Is there any guaranty that they will repent or they will remain alive till that age?
Mawlana Abdul Hameed spoke to those parents whose daughters study in high schools, colleges and universities and said, “You have a huge responsibility regarding your daughters those you have sent them to colleges, universities and seminaries. You should be careful in this regard; the environment of our society is envenomed by venom and hoof of social crimes and sins. Young generation including girls use mobile phones, parents should monitor their children, sly and cunning people always try to hunt your children. It is a serious matter. I do not say be distrustful; but you should monitor their friends and activities”
At the end of his khutbah, khateeb of Sunnis emphasized that women must not cross the boundaries of Islam, Muslim women should take care of their hijab and clothing, they should not follow all new fashions always, and in clothing they should not violate Islamic rules. If any society frees from good hijab, modesty will be phoenix in that community.
