‘Injustice is the most important factor of divine punishment’

‘Injustice is the most important factor of divine punishment’
molana31Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Imam and preacher of Friday prayers for Sunnis in Zahedan city, indicated towards the views and simple comments expressed by scholars, professors and some other preachers regarding the reasons of potential earthquake in Tehran and said, “Before few days it has been told that the earthquake may occur in the capital city Tehran”. Expressing the same thing there is a ridiculous comment which can be considered non-scientific and far away from the modern methodology which also come about the reasons for earthquakes, where one of the preachers said: that in our society women and girls do not observe veil, it is the main reason for earthquake, another professor said: that earthquake is a natural event, it is not linked with disobedience and sin.”

He further said: these two views both are ridiculous; there is no doubt that this world is the place of effects, behind each incident there is a cause, as well as all these reasons have been created by Lord, and Allah Almighty is the real and original cause of all incidents which occur in the world, so that nature is not the real reason for these incidents and events.
Shaikh added, “An Islamic university professor should look for the Qur’an and Sunnah instructions in order to get healthy information’s that these incidents are not viewed as natural, but all these incidents and other natural disaster like flood, Cataclysm and earthquake have deep relation with disobedience and obedience. The Holy Qura’n explained consequence of people who were tortured by floods, earthquakes and storms; Almighty Allah says: “فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنْبِهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَغْرَقْنَا وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ”
{Then we seized each of them on account of his sin. Then as to some of them we sent the storm of stoning, and as to some of them, a roaring blast overtook them and as to some of them we buried in the earth and as to some of them, we drowned. And it was not befitting to the Dignity of Allah that He would have oppressed them, yes they themselves oppressed their souls. {; So this is not a scientific theory. Though they considered it scientific and specialized theory but it is not supported by the Qura’n and sayings of the holy prophet (peace be upon him).
Grand Shaikh continued his speech referring to the opinion of one Friday preacher who declared unashamedly and blatantly women the main reason for the earthquakes and the divine punishment and said, “There is no doubt that the unveiling, non-observance of the veil is sin, but not all sin, and there are many bigger sins and transgressions than it such as doing injustice and tyrannizing; so divine torture falls in a place where injustice and waste of rights of weak community are usual.”
He further said, “Therefore preachers and professors should observe the real dimension of the issue. Every person where ever he is and any status he is having should repent for sins. The public as well as scholars must stop their selves from sins, as well as the State officers must repent and desist from sin and injustice. Those who consider themselves as innocent and purified and think that divine punishment comes because of sins of others and there is no effect of their sins on the relegation of God’s punishment,  they are entirely wrong. No the fact is not like they think! Rather every man must take care of his actions and deeds. A judge who sits on the chair of judiciary and nominated one who runs management systems and order in a society should look after their deeds and repent to Almighty Allah for sins.
This issue is very clear that the incidents and calamities and other conditions are related to our deeds and actions, conditions become good when our deeds are good, as well as it becomes bad when we adopt spoiled work, we all must repent to the Lord Almighty and reform our acts and deeds.”
