Mawlana Abdol Hamid’s Speech in Nusratabad Grand Mosque

Highlights from Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid’s Speech in Nusratabad Grand Mosque – Wednesday, October 23, 2024 :

Islam

🔰”Islam” is a comprehensive program that brings blessings and mercy to human life, shaping both worldly and spiritual aspects. By embracing Islam, historical conflicts like the 120-year feud between the Aws and Khazraj tribes ended, bringing true unity, love, and sacrifice to the community.
🔰Islam promoted chastity and modesty, which had been previously undermined, encouraged marriage, and advocated Islamic dress codes without imposing restrictions. This program gained acceptance, leading people to conquer the world with good morals and trustworthiness.
🔰Unfortunately, today, the moral traits of the Prophet (PBUH), his companions, and Ahl al-Bayt (RA) are absent in the lives of many Muslims. We speak of the names of early Muslims, but their character does not reflect in our lives—qualities like sincerity, mercy, compassion, generosity, and selflessness are lacking.

Quran

🔰”The Quran” is the most comprehensive book and the summary of all the virtues of previous divine scriptures.
🔰The “Quran,” “Prophet’s Biography,” and “Lives of the Companions” transformed the world.

Prophet’s Character

🔰The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) introduced a comprehensive civilization for the people of the world, unmatched in history, emphasizing worship and devotion to Allah and covering all aspects of individual and social life.
🔰He stood against falsehood, instilling such honesty among the Companions (RA) that they would not lie, even in jest.
🔰The Prophet (PBUH) nurtured the Companions beautifully, encouraging them to worship Allah, fostering courage, generosity, honesty, humility, simplicity, and respect for others. Many converted to Islam due to the beautiful character of the Companions (RA).
🔰The Prophet (PBUH) lived modestly, like ordinary people, not like kings or wealthy individuals, and this lifestyle influenced others. He exemplified justice, equality, truthfulness, and humanity unmatched anywhere else.
🔰Traits like “honesty,” “faith,” “fairness,” “character,” and “Prophet’s (PBUH) guidance” attracted the world to Islam’s teachings.
🔰Allah granted the Prophet (PBUH) the collective virtues of all the prophets before him.
🔰The Prophet (PBUH) implemented Islam across all aspects of society, teaching cleanliness, mouth washing, and personal and social purity.
🔰He introduced a governance system rooted in “fairness and justice” and “listening to the people,” which fascinated the civilized nations.

Child Rearing

🔰Never lie to children or deceive them, as dishonesty impacts their nature, turning them into liars.
🔰Do not scare children, as this fosters fearfulness and complicates their upbringing; they should be raised to be brave.

Service to Humanity

🔰Religion is worshiping the Creator and showing compassion to His creations. Our duty is to worship Allah and serve His creatures; serving people is part of worship.
🔰To attract Allah’s mercy, we should bring happiness to the brokenhearted, even if they are non-Muslims. Allah forgives those who show mercy to animals and punishes those who are cruel.
🔰Allah has no need for the worship of a cruel, hard-hearted person who commits crimes and murders.
🔰When you comfort orphans, help the poor, respect everyone, and show kindness, Allah is pleased with you.
🔰The late Mawlana Ahmad (RA) was a wise, compassionate scholar who aspired to serve people within and beyond the province. His passing is a significant loss.
🔰It is fitting to pray for Mawlana Jan Mohammad, who is currently ill. He has served the people of this region for many years. Scholars serve with the support of Allah and the people.
🔰All blessings we enjoy, both spiritual and worldly, come from Allah. May Allah’s mercy encompass this region, so the living benefit from His material and spiritual blessings, and the deceased receive His attention and mercy.
🔰I pray for the people and seek Allah’s satisfaction through serving them. Allah grants the honor of serving others to whomever He wishes.
