Shaikh Abdol-Hamid’s Friday remarks on the Vienna talks:

The Vienna Talks an Opportunity for Both Sides

The Vienna Talks an Opportunity for Both Sides

Referring to the new round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States in Vienna, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader expressed hopes that such talks would be in the interest of the people of Iran and considered it an opportunity for the both sides.

He was talking to tens of thousands of worshipers in Zahedan’s biggest Friday gathering on Dec. 10, 2021.

The prominent Iranian Sunni scholar stated: “The new round of nuclear negotiations has been begun in Vienna between Iran and the world powers. These talks are opportunities for the both sides to resolve the economic problems.”

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged that Iran should imitate the characteristic of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in such deals keeping in mind the current situation.

“The people of Iran have been suffering from living problems due to cruel, unjust, and unilateral sanctions by the United States. These sanctions have put pressure on the Iranian people. Inflation has been rising in Iran and people are suffering from worst economic problems”, said the Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan.

Addressing the Iranian side in the Vienna talks, the Iranian Sunnis’ leader said: “I would like to advise the Iranian officials to follow the manner and method of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH in such negotiations. If we follow the method of the Prophet Muhammad, we will find the best lessons of patience, tolerance, and dealing with others in his whole life, especially in the peace of Hudaybiyah”.

‘The Iranian side should try to win the talks’, president of Darululoom Zahedan urged.

“If we are going to pay something, we have to get something. This is acceptable in international customs and in accordance with the Prophet’s manners,” he believed.

Wishing to win the talks, the imminent Sunni scholar of Iranian Balochistan said: “The new talks in Vienne are a good opportunity for the both sides to resolve their problems through such negotiations. As the Supreme Leader of Iran issued a fatwa that production of nuclear weapons is forbidden, sanctions should not have been imposed on the Iranian people after this fatwa. This fatwa should have been enough to convince the world. Although Iran has made it clear that it does not seek to develop nuclear weapons, the world powers still continue putting sanctions and pressures on Iran.”

“I hope for a better result in the negotiations. I call on the international powers to lift oppressive sanctions in order to save the Iranian people from many years of sufferings,” he said.

He added more: ‘If Allah helps us, sanctions will be lifted, and we will be safe from climates and divine torments’.

If the president Raisi’s administration fails to answer Sunnis’ demands, people will be frustrated
Fighting for the rights of the Sunni community of Iran, the Iranian Sunnis’ leader asked the president Raisi to fulfill the promises he made to Sunnis during his campaign and asked him to pay especial attention to this deprived community enabling them to achieve their equal rights after enduring of 43 years of sufferings.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Even though Sunnis supported the president Raisi in the recent election, they have not yet been achieved their due rights fulfilled. They have been suffering from discrimination and inequality for over 43 years. Discrimination is a pain that Sunnis of Iran have been suffering from it. Sunnis of Iran cannot get high positions in official jobs at the regional and national levels.”

“Sunnis voted for the president Raisi and expected from him to solve their problems, but still he did not. Sunnis of Iran are among the most genuine people in the country who were killed in defense of their land. They have sacrificed in the eight years of the imposed war. They are proud of Iran and Islam and want to enjoy equal rights as other Iranians,” the most outstanding Iranian Sunni leader said.

“Sunnis allied with different factions in Iran in elections, in order to pursue their legitimate rights and test their loyalty. We are not disappointed and ask the president Raisi’s administration to meet our demands as soon as possible”, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid addressed the officials during his Friday speech in Zahedan’s Grand Musalla.

Obeying Allah and the Prophet PBUH dignifies Muslims
Pointing out to the causes of failure of the Islamic Ummah in various religious, social, and political arenas, the eminent Sunni scholar of Iran inspired Muslims to return to the teachings of Islam and encouraged them to obey the messenger of Almighty Allah. Emphasizing on the importance of reforming the community, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid strictly forbade Muslims from committing sins and evil deeds, in the first part of His Friday speech of Zahedan. He cited ignorance of divine commands and being involved in the love of material things as main causes of the fall of Muslims.

The Friday Khateeb of Zahedan said: “When Muslims diverted from the path of Allah and the materials became their main goal and they imitated non-Muslims and ignored the divine warnings, Allah cut off his help from them.”

“Throughout history, Muslims conquered different parts of the world by their good deeds and actions and through a strong faith. If today’s Muslims go through the giddiness of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, they will succeed in all fields and need not to imitate other cultures and religions, rather others will follow them. Success will not be achieved without the love of Allah and His Messenger,” Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said.

“Unfortunately, today’s Muslims are weak in the practice of the noble Sharia of Islam. Drinking alcohol, addiction, adultery, bribery, imitating non-Muslims, etc. are among factors that hit the Muslim community’, he addressed the Friday worshipers of Zahedan.

Emphasizing on earning a halal livelihood, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “As Muslims, we must work hard to earn halal livelihoods. We must not earn through illegal ways because it destroys our belief and damages our life in both worlds.”

“Some people consider famine, earthquakes, plagues and other pests, natural while these all are the results of our deeds and actions. Unfortunately, today Muslims imitate strange cultures while they inherit the rich civilization and the best religion of Islam,” he said more.

“Why do we see the causes and not see the creator of the causes? Why the corruption, killing of innocents, theft, murders, and other crimes are increasing?” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid asked.

“As Muslims, We should be proud of the Islamic culture and imitate the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him; this contributes our glory and dignity around the globe”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid inspired Muslims in his last points of the first part of his Friday speech in Zahedan.

Referring to the passing of Haji Bijjar Sohrabzahi a Baloch trustee in Zahedan and Khash, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called him a righteous and humble personality, asked Allah for forgiveness for the deceased, and offered his deep condolences to his family, friends, and survivors.
