Blocking Afghanistan’s Assets, an Injustice to Afghans

Criticizing the blockage of Afghanistan’s reserve funds by the United States and some Western countries, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid considered such actions as a kind of oppression and sanctions against the Afghan nation in his Friday speech of Zahedan on Sep. 24, 2021.

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader said: “Unfortunately, the United States and some Western countries have blocked Afghanistan’s assets, which are the capital of the Afghan people”.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan continued: “Afghanistan has experienced a long war. Now this country faces famine and drought and many Afghans live in Pakistan, Iran and other countries as migrants”.
“When the war and jihad in Afghanistan have ended and the people need money for their livelihood, in such a situation, blocking the assets of Afghanistan is a cruelty to this nation”, said the president of Darululoom Zahedan.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called the seizure of Afghanistan’s assets as a kind of sanction on the nation of this country and noted: “Sanctions on Afghanistan are sanctions on the people of this country.”
“Governments run their country through their assets and capitals. Such sanctions hit markets and trades, as Iran lost its capital with the economic sanctions”, he underlined.
Addressing the United States and other developed countries, the most outstanding Sunni leader of Sistan-Balochistan asked: “Is it a civilization to impose sanctions on nations? This is not a civilization, but arrogance”.
“Instead of resorting to force and imposing sanctions against nations, the problems should be solved through logic ways and correct and constructive policies”, said the Iranian Sunnis’ leader.

Crimes should be prevented instead of destroying people’s houses
Alluding to the demolition of residential houses in Qasemabad suburb town of Zahedan, the Friday Khateeb of Zahedan said: “The demolition of people’s houses in Qasemabad and the officers’ mistreatment and violence against a woman was very painful.”
“We hope that the violators will be prosecuted by the authorities and dealt with”, said Imam of the grand Makki mosque of Zahedan.

Addressing the municipality, the Natural Resources Organization, the Housing Foundation and other relevant organs, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Instead of destroying people’s houses, there should be effective measures to prevent crimes. The destruction of people’s houses is very bad and dangerous”.
“Don’t let the law be broken by the officers, they should be given more salaries to prevent from such damages”, he added more.
“I advise the people to follow the law and pursue their issues through legal means”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said.
“Unfortunately, in some cases the laws are closed and failed, so people pursue their needs through illegal ways”, said the president of Darululoom Zahedan.

Referring to the occasion of the ” Sacred Defense Week of Iran, in his last points, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid congratulated this anniversary and said: “I wish success for all armed forces that fought in defense of this country.”

Disobedience to Allah damages society
In the first part of his speech, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid considered disobedience to Allah dangerous and striking for the societies and stressed on the necessity of repentance to Allah the almighty.
“Today, people do not respect each other’s rights”, he said.
The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan urged on the importance of respecting the laws of Islam and stated that the divine laws aren’t respected today.
He said: “Today, human rights’ violators are being prosecuted; while Allah’s rights have been neglected”.
“Allah doesn’t need His servants, He punishes the disobedient people. As human rights must be respected, the rights of Allah, who is our greatest benefactor and Mohsen, deserve to be respected more”, Imam of the Grand Makki mosque of Zahedan said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on the importance of obeying God’s commands in all aspects of the life. He pointed that God’s rights should not be violated for the sake of the people.
“Today many people commit sins, such as robbery, murder, abduction for ransom and etc. All of these sins are the result of ignoring the rights of Allah the almighty”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid denounced disobedience to Allah and said: “The money obtained by stealing, misleads the generation of thieves and displeases Allah in the Hereafter. Disobedience to divine laws has very dangerous consequences. One of the consequences of disobeying the divine laws is that the nature flows to the detriment of people”.
“Theft, murder, corruption, adultery, dropping bombs on the homeless people and so on are the results of negligence and arrogance. Earthquakes, floods, fires and etc. are the signs of the Day of Judgment; seeing such signs, people should repent and turn to Allah”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Zahedan.
He stated: “As the human rights’ organization defends human rights, an organization must be formed to defend the rights of Allah”.
At the end of this part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid emphasized and advised different classes of society such as women, men, academics and etc. on the necessity of performing the duty of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil and said: “We all must defend the rights of God”.
“Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is to defend the right of Allah the almighty”, he believed.
