Darululoom Zahedan’s Prominent Academic Professor Passes away

Mawlana Adham Sepahi, an ex-professor of Zahedan’s universities and teacher of Darululoom Zahedan passed away in Yazd city on Saturday 7th August 2021.

He was head of the “Studies and Research Office” of Darululoom Zahedan/Iran. Mr. Sepahi was shifted to hospital three months ago in the holy month of Ramadan.

Mawlana Sepahi taught had a master in the Arabic language and literature. He was teaching Arabic language in schools and then in different national universities of Zahedan. Meanwhile he got Islamic education and after retirement, he joined Darululoom Zahedan and completed his studies over there.

After finalizing his Islamic studies, he began teaching Arabic and Persian literature and basic sciences like Arabic grammar and eloquence in the department of Arabic Literature Postgraduate program and the department of Journalism and Persian Language and Literature classes as well night classes of Darululoom Zahedan (the biggest scientific center for Sunni community in Iran).

Mawlana Sepahi was originally from the “Sib” district of Sib-Suran county of Sistan Baluchestan, Iran.

He played a key role in designing curriculum of the night classes of Darululoom Zahedan and re-organization of the curriculum of Sistan-Baluchistan’s Islamic seminaries in accordance with the modern principles.
