True Faith Obtained Through Obedience to Allah

Mufti Mohammad Qasem Qasemi pointed out to the characteristics of true believers in the Friday prayer ceremony of Zahedan in March 5, 2021, and urged on obeying Allah in every steps of life.

He considered helping others, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, offering prayers, paying Zakah and obeying Allah the Almighty and the Prophet Mohammad PBUH as the most important features of a true believer.

The chairman of Darul-Ifta Darululoom Zahedan said: “Islam is not a religion of slogans and claims, but it is a religion of action and faith. The practice of Islamic law is obtained through obedience to Allah”.

“Allah tests the believers to show who is a true believer and who claims to be a real believer”, said the prominent teacher of Hadith and jurisprudence of Darululoom Zahedan.

He continued: “Truthful people have signs and characteristics. In the chapter Tawbah of the Qur’an, Allah has described the characteristics of true believers of both men and women. First, they help each other”.

Describing the signs of faith, Mufti Qasemi said: “Another characteristic of true believers is that they do what is good and forbid what is evil. The first thing that should be implemented in a society is to enjoin the good and forbid the evil”.

“Allah’s commands must be obeyed by all, women, men, scholars, academics, elders, heads of families, and so on”, said the prominent Mufti of Sunnis in Iran.

“Revive the good deeds and refrain from evil and sins. The responsibility of the head of a family is not just to earn but he is responsible for everything”, he said.

The Iranian Grand Sunni Mufti urged that all classes of the society should be punctual to their regular prayers and continued: ‘Be punctual to the prayers and treat slaves well’, the Holy Prophet PBUH said in his last points of his life.

“In prayer, mankind speaks directly to Allah. The Salah prevents mankind from immorality, and sins”, he said.

Mawlana Qasemi emphasized: “Many people don’t attend mosques to offer the prayers; this not a good condition.”

“Take care of young and children; why the young don’t attend mosques for the morning prayers?” he questioned.

The senior teacher of Hadith and Fiqh of Darululoom Zahedan further emphasized on paying of Zakat and considered it as one of the features of the believers and said that many problems such as famine and drought are due Muslim’s weakness in paying of Zakat.

He emphasized on paying Zakat in an Islamic method and said: “Pay Zakat of your property on time so that your property is protected”.

At the end of his speech, Mufti Mohammad Qasem Qasemi emphasized on obedience to Allah’s commands and considered it as the sign of the believers and said: “Believers who adhere to these features will be blessed by Allah and the prayers of the angels and the Prophet will be accepted for them and they will enter the Paradise and meet Allah the Almighty.”
