Shaikh Abdol-Hamid in the Friday prayer sermon of Zahedan:

Ingratitude to Allah, Biggest Blunder of Mankind

Ingratitude to Allah, Biggest Blunder of Mankind

Explaining various blessings and mercies of Allah to mankind, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said in his Friday speech of Oct. 23, 2020 that human beings should be thankful to Allah for His every blessing.
“Allah the Almighty has given various blessings to His creatures all over the worlds. Allah has not deprived human beings of blessings due to their ingratitude, rebellion and disobedience”, said Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan.
“Allah’s blessings have covered the whole world. He sends down water from the sky growing plants from the earth. All kinds of material blessings such as crops, vegetables, fruits, mountains, plains, forests, seas and streams are among Allah’s best blessings to the servants”, the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran said.
Alluding to the philosophy of diversity in Allah’s blessings, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said:” As there is variety in the human body, there is also variety on the earth such as salinity, sweetness, firmness and softness and etc.”
Considering health and peace as two great blessings of Allah, president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “Health and peace are among Allah’s best blessings for human beings. When a person loses a part of his body, he realizes what a great blessing he has lost. No blessing is equal to the blessing of faith.”
“Be thankful to Allah the Almighty for His blessings and avoid ingratitude. Allah does not need our worships, we need to worship Allah. If we are thankful to Allah, He will be pleased and satisfied with us. If we are ungrateful, He will be dissatisfied with us”.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid explained “turning away from divine commands” as the biggest mistake of mankind and the sign of negligence and said: “Allah’s spiritual blessings such as Islam, the Holy Qur’an and the Holy Prophet PBUH are among the divine gifts. Those who have everything but far away from Allah, they are on the wrong direction. They lost a big thing. They will reach a dead end in the grave and in the Hereafter. The biggest ignorance of mankind is to exchange the Hereafter life for the material life”.
He said that it is a big luck to approach Allah and work hard for Halal income which itself is worship.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on making strong relationship with Allah the Almighty and avoid from negligence.

Resolve country’s deteriorating economic crisis
Alluding to the critical economic situation in Iran in a part of his Friday speech of Oct. 23, 2020, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stressed that Iranian officials must think of ways to save the country from economic failures.
“The current economic situation in the country is critical. People are facing a lot of sufferings and problems. They have lost their wealth and properties”, said the most influential Iranian Sunni leader.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Country’s economic problems have not only been resolved, but are still spreading. Officials must observe people’s critical situation and think of an urgent solution. In the current situation, the authorities must try to save the country from crises and failures”.

Referring to the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH, Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “We are in the days of Rabi ‘al-Awal, the month of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH. We hear discourses about unity in these days, but unfortunately some are not willing to maintain unity”.
“Muslims are mostly divided into different sects and groups today. In such a situation, the Islamic Ummah needs to be united more than ever”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged.

I’m good and healthy
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid continued his speech by referring to his medical trip to Turkey and said: “I had a trip to Turkey for treatment due to some illnesses.”
“Praise be to Allah the Almighty, thanks to God and thanks to you dear people for your good prayers for me. I appreciate you all. I am still on medical leave. May Allah Almighty bless us all with the best of His mercies”, he said.
At the end of his speech, the Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan pointed to the passing of Shaikh Abdol-Hakeem Salehi, a prominent Sunni scholar of southern Balochistan of Iran/Konarak and prayed for him to be blessed by Allah the Almighty.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid also pointed to the illness of Mawlana Mohammad Dehqan of Gosht, eastern part of Baluchistan and Shaikh Abdol-Rahman Mohebbi (prominent teacher of Hadith in Darululoom Zahedan). He prayed for the healing of these two prominent Sunni scholars.
