The president of Darululoom Zahedan called the plan of annexation the West Bank to Israel, as an “unjust deal” and said: “The plan to annex the Jordan Valley to Israel, which is one of the United States’ plans, is a great injustice and oppression”.

“The implementation of this plan and declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is unacceptable to all Muslims around the world”, the Iranian Sunnis leader said.

“Not a single inch of Palestinian land should be occupied by Israel”, Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan added.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “All Islamic countries and free nations must recognize Palestine as an independent and free country and accept ambassadors from this state.”

“The rights of the Palestinian people, which had been violated for seventy years, must be guaranteed”, he said.

In the last part of his Friday speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Eid al-Fitr prayers will be offered at Zahedan’s Grand Musalla.”

He continued: “Due to the outbreak of COVID 19, it is better to establish Eid prayers outside the city, because the place is open and wide, too.”

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid suggested the worshippers of upcoming Eid al-Fitr: “People should offer prayers and return home with observing the distance without making any crowd”.

He pointed: “People should follow the health advice, use masks and bring personal prayer rugs during the Eid prayer.”

“Patients and suspected of being ill should not attend Musalla and mosques until they are cured and they should pray at their homes”, he advised more.

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan further said: “The international healthcare recommendations and protocols should be followed. Shaking hands and hugging are strictly forbidden at Musalla in order to prevent the spread of COVID 19.”

“Funeral services, mourning and wedding ceremonies should not be held, and if they are held, should be held briefly in the presence of around few persons”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid suggested.
