Shaikh Abdol-Hamid in his Friday sermon:

Enhance Motivation of Imitating the Prophet

Enhance Motivation of Imitating the Prophet

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan termed “resisting against the enemy”, “tolerating deprivations and disgraces”, “acting upon the Qur’an and Shari’ah”, “good coexistence with people” and “running away from misdeeds” the most outstanding Sunnahs of the prophet PBUH and urged on imitating his way in all aspects of life.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported that he had begun his speech of 28th June, 2019 by the 21st verse of the chapter al-Ahzab and said: “Allah Almighty has introduced the prophet Mohammad, peace and prayers be upon him, as an example for the believers and God-seekers who eagerly wish to obtain His pleasure.”
“In the Battle of Ahzab which was worse and more difficult than the Battle of Badr, the prophet PBUH and all other Muslims tolerated the worst hardships and they showed abidance and resistance. Tolerating difficulties, hardships, bitters and unkindness is the way and Sunnah of the prophet PBUH,” he added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said: “Some people wrongly think ‘Sunnah’ is confined to taking sohour, iftaar, brushing, beard and taking nap after noon. Rather it has a wider meaning and includes resistance before the enemies, leaving disputes, tolerating difficulties and deprivations, acting upon the Qur’an, offering the night prayers and acting upon the whole Shari’ah.”
“No one can be successful and prosperous but by imitating the Sunnah which is in fact imitation of the Almighty Allah. He does not accept any way that goes against the way of the prophet PBUH,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said: “Unfortunately, today’s Muslims want to enter the Paradise without acting upon the Sunnah and without paying Zakah, donation and offering prayers and carrying out other duties, while the Paradise can be achieved by imitating from the Sunnah and Shari’ah.”
“It is the way and Sunnah of the prophet to run away from sins and illegal acts. Do not feed your children Haram things. Protect your eyes, ears and tongue from sins. Backbiting and blaming others are against the Shari’ah and Sunnah,” he said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said: “Those who insult each other, loot wealth of orphans and abstain from giving the inheritance, they destroy their endless life. Those who are involved in narcotics, adultery, usury, bribery, magic and other sins, they lose their faith.”
At the end of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis called on Muslims to show an open chest and avoid from injustice and abusing other’s due rights.
