Mawlana Ab. Hamid in Zahedan:

We have to be Responsive on Judgment Day

We have to be Responsive on Judgment Day

Khateeb of Friday in Zahedan urged on the purification of individuals and societies in his sermon of Oct. 26, 2018. He said everybody would be accountable on the Day of Judgment according to his/her position in this world.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported that he began his speech by the recitation of the Qur’anic verse: “اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُعْرِضُونَ*مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُون; The time of people’s reckoning has drawn near, and yet they turn aside in heedlessness. Whenever any fresh admonition comes to them from their Lord they barely heed it and remain immersed in play.” and said: “Mankind is not permissible to do whatever he wishes; rather he has to live according to the outlines of Shari’ah and his all words, acts and tenets should be as Allah orders.”
He said: “All acts, movements and words of human beings are being recorded. Allah Almighty will ask every human being about his/her deeds and s/he should be responsive. The Almighty warns us that Judgment Day is near, but human beings suffer from negligence. They have forgotten agony of death, fear and loneliness of grave and their upcoming presence on the day of judgment for divine trial.”
“Allah Almighty says: Allah will question us about our deeds and tenets. He knows each and everything about our acts, but in fact the question will be why did you carry out this and that? There will be questions about tenets and beliefs, too in grave,” Shaikh added more.
Friday Imam of Sunnis went on to say more: “We are responsible about our children and inferior individuals. The prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, said: “All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Shepherds, farmers, parents, family guardians, Ulama and religious figures, regional and national directors and all human beings are responsible; they have no choice but to respond about their responsibilities.”
“Every individual is responsible -according to his/her power and position- about misdeeds done and good deeds left in society. The one who occupies a greater position, his/her trial will be more difficult. Ulama and Friday imams bear heavy responsibilities about people if they go on wrong way,” he underlined.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said: “We should work hard in accordance to our responsibilities; if there is any fault, the person will be questioned. But if someone acts more than his/her responsibility, s/he would get more rewards. So we should always remember the resurrection day and take care of our acts, deeds and moral.”

Officials work hard to bring development for others
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid shed light on the importance of serving people and said: “It is our mission to develop others’ world; however we are allowed to enjoy welfare, too. Responsible people always work hard to equip others with welfare.”
“In the early ages of Islam, the Prophet PBUH and others who had duties neglected their own world and they made others’ world and life,” he added more.
Hadith teacher at Darululoom Zahedan said: “We should work hard to develop our everlasting life as well as others’ endless life. We should have a brilliant future for ourselves, our children and society; educate them correctly and equip them with piety and honesty.”

Modern and Islamic educations are beloved to Allah
President of Darululoom Zahedan called on the audience to give importance to education and said: “Respectable parents are responsible about their children; they should educate them by guiding them to universities and specialization in different subjects. Or they should be sent to Islamic educational centers to learn Islam and get specialization in religious sciences.”
“Education is important and Allah likes both of modern and Islamic sciences. If any teacher is careful about his/her students, s/he is beloved to Allah. We all should be careful and responsive about the future of our children and society. We should try to make them pious, Godly as well as educated and knowledgeable. Then they can manage their mortal world and prepare for the endless life,” he underlined.
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on parents and guardians to bring up their children in a way to make “sociable” and “gregarious” to think for all; they should not be selfish.
“Students of universities and madrassahs should think for the guidance, reformation and serving society. Let’s think for all classes of society; produce jobs for jobless and poor people. Educate people and teach professions in order to make them independent financially,” he emphasized.
In the last part of his weekly speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to presence of mayor of Zahedan and urged on making efforts to resolve Zahedan’s civic problems.
