Shaikh Ab. Hamid said in Friday speech:

Consign Criminals, Murderers to Law Enforcers

Consign Criminals, Murderers to Law Enforcers

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged on maintenance of peace and called on tribal chiefs to detain criminals and murderers consigning them to the law enforcers and judiciary.
Talking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan on July 6, 2018, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed “robbery and banditry” among the main reasons behind insecurity in the region and said: “All classes should work hard for maintaining and preserving peace and security.”
“The tribes should resist against all criminals and murderers. Either compel them to reform themselves or hand them over to the judiciary. Especially those who have murdered anyone, they should be consigned in order to be a lesson for others,” he underlined.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan further said: “Relatives of those who lose their lives in murder cases follow their complaints via legal channels. Relatives of murderers also should consign such thugs to law enforcers.”
“If anyone commits any crime and murders someone, only the culprit should be consigned to judiciary. The ignorant traditions have no authenticity; brothers, father and other relatives of murderers should not be persecuted and face revenge,” he urged.

Martyrdom of Eng. Mehdi and Dr. Abdol-Shakour bitter incidents
President of Darululoom Zahedan expressed his deep sorrow on assassination of Dr. Abdol-Shakour in Khash city and Engineer Mehdi Mirbalochzahi and said: “In the past week two murder cases made us sorrowful. First Eng. Mirbalochzahi was abducted and killed by bandits. He was an educated and decent man who was an entrepreneur with 300 employees.”
He also condemned assassination of Dr. Abdol-Shakour and said: “Dr. Abdol-Shakour Kord was a personality useful for all who was assassinated yesterday in Khash. He was good for everyone and he was not limited to a tribe or family. Death of such people is a big loss for the society. Killing a person who gets education, enjoys talents and provides services to society is very bitter incident.”

Officials should take easy on people in taxes
In a part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the tax week in Iran and urged on taking lesser taxes from people and said: “Receiving tax is a legal order in the country, but we’d like to recommend to get lesser tax from people as the economic situation of the country is not suitable. People have been suffering from high pressures.”
“The officials should take care of people. They can remit fines and behave in a way which is tolerable for people. People also are requested to cooperate with officials,” he added more.

The eminent Islamic scholar of Iran pointed out to shortage of power and water in the country and called on citizens to economize and use water, power and electricity carefully. He said: “We are going to face harder sanctions, so we should use all kinds of facilities and tools carefully and avoid wastage.

Good tenets and deeds, the most important spiritual blessings
In the first part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid began the sermon by reciting the Noble Qur’anic verse: «مَا عِنْدَكُمْ يَنْفَدُ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ بَاقٍ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ» and said: “As human beings’ nature needs, Allah Almighty has provided for them material and spiritual blessings.”
He said: “Whatever we need for living and inhibition, Allah has bestowed us. But there are some spiritual needs for human beings. Correct tenets and good deeds are the most important spiritual needs of us.”
“Allah has told us that nothing would be forever; luxury houses, cloths, cars, shoes and all other material things will perish one day. Even our bodies will be weak and then extinction comes. The only thing which remains forever is the one that is restored and saved at Allah,” Khateeb of Sunnis underlined.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “Whatever we do for the sake of Allah will be eternal. The worldly blessings are restricted to this world, because they are the needs of it. The perishing world can be immortal with worshiping Allah and making Him satisfied.”
“This world should be a stand for collecting something for the endless life and everlasting world. Do not use this world and its blessings just for living, rather use it for the endless life,” he said more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan concluded his points in this part by calling on people to endure difficulties on the way of serving other people and benefiting them with utilizing their health, knowledge and influence.
