Mawlana Badri in his Friday sermon:

Islam Respected Poor People

Islam Respected Poor People

Mawlana Abdol-Ghani Badri called “paying attention to the poor class of society” one of the particularities of Islam. He was talking to worshipers in Zahedan city on Friday 20th April, 2018.
SunniOnline reported, the interim Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “Islam pays attention to the weak and poor people. Allah Almighty says: “وَنُرِيدُ أَنْ نَمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ”; We wanted to bestow favor on those who were oppressed in the land. We wanted to make them leaders and heirs.”
“Before Islam, women used to be dealt and exchanged like goods. Some used to bury their alive daughters. But Islam gave respect and status to this weak part of the society. Women pass three positions; first they are ‘daughters’, then they become ‘wives’ and finally ‘mothers’. For each stage, there are directions from Islam,” he added more.
Senior Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to ‘salves’, another weak class of society, and said: “Slaves were also from a weak class. The prophet PBUH advised repeatedly about them. He said that slaves were your brothers who had been under your control. Islam urges on freeing slaves.”

Muslims should follow Shari’ah
Mawlana Badri, in another part of his speech, alluded to the importance of Halal and Haram and said: “Islam has announced and stated some rulings for Muslims. Every Muslim has to follow those commands.”
“Infidels do not differentiate between Halal and Haram/allowed and forbidden. They eat whatever they wish like animals; they do not believe in Halal and Haram,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Ghani Badri said: “Allah has given spiritual and material blessings; the spiritual one spread by prophets and revelation. But unfortunately, human beings focus on material blessings more than spiritual ones.”
“The highest level of spiritual blessing is “prophet-hood” while the highest stage in material blessings is “kingdom”. But prophetic mission cannot be achieved by personal efforts; it is just a divine blessing and He chose whoever He wanted for prophecy,” he further said.
Tafseer teacher of Darululoom Zahedan said: “We should go back and look at our routine life; if we have gotten development in standard of life, but with no advancement in spiritual life, we should review our attitude.”
At the end of his speech, Mawlana Badri pointed out to “Earth Day” and called on the audience to protect environment as Islam urges on cleanness and official departments cannot clean any town alone.
