Aerial Attack on Religious Ceremony in Kunduz was “Cowardly”, “Detestable”

The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar decried the aerial assault of Afghanistan army on a graduation ceremony in Dasht-e-Archi town of Kunduz province. He termed the attack “cowardly”, “hateful” and “detestable”.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported his latest sermon of April 6, 2018. He said: “The Afghan army has attacked a graduation ceremony in Kunduz which is unprecedented in history of the region.”
“Very young boys were celebrating their conclusion of Qur’an memorizing and people of the region also were in the ceremony, but the army of Afghanistan threw bombs on them; it was really tragic, shocking and hatful. Seeing such incidents makes the heart lacerated,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid added more.
He went on and asked: “On which logic and legal regulations this religious and Qur’anic ceremony was targeted? This incident was bitter and painful not only for the Afghan nation, but for all Muslims and free-minded people.”
“It is the sign of poltroonery and failure of the assaulters who massacre memorizers of the Qur’an and attack religious ceremonies for fighting against their enemies. They failed in grounds and now they attack innocents. They have disgraced themselves as well as their supporters,” Khateeb of Sunnis underlined.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid decried such attacks on civilians and said: “Some unblest people who consider themselves Muslims, but they attack on mosques, religious gatherings and funeral ceremonies, while such acts are against Islamic Shari’ah and humane principles.”

Supporting Israeli crimes illogic and illegal
Khateeb of Sunnis went on to say more about the recent massacre of Palestinians in Gaza by the sinister regime of Israel. He said: “It is deeply regrettable that when the people of Gaza hold demonstration and demand their freedom, the Israeli regime massacre protestors and martyr many of them.”
“Veto of a UN security council draft about investigation on the massacre of Gazan Muslims in the protest was a very big injustice and cruelty. This step of the US gives a green signal to Israel to continue her crimes,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “The US and other powers claim ‘war on terror’ and eliminating ‘extremism’. But by which plan and correct method they want to resist this phenomenon? It is fully illogic and unwise to support Israel.”

Oppressors get punishment in this world
President of Darululoom Zahedan termed “cruelty” one of the biggest challenges and problems of the time and said: “Cruelty is one of the big sins and biggest challenges of the modern world. Injustice and violating due rights of others are the main examples of oppression.”
“Cruelty has some levels; some kinds of it are equal to kufr and shirk/infidelity. Killing innocents approaches the man near to kufr and infidelity. Violating due rights of women, children, other people and looting orphans are obvious oppression and big sins,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “In some cases Allah Almighty may show tolerance and patience, but He has promised to punish oppressors and cruel people in this world before all people.”
“We live in an era where oppression rules everywhere, especially in the Middle East. Tyrants and criminals massacre innocents just to protect their seats and maintain their power. For the sake of their personal and national interests, they destroy other nations and countries. These despots should fear the divine punishment,” he added more.
Prominent Islamic scholar said: “No one can claim to be the representative of the Sublime to do everything they wish. Allah Almighty has not made anyone His representative giving him a free hand to do whatever he wishes against the divine orders.”
“Everyone should be careful to not violate the orders of Allah in any condition. None of governments, states and personalities can go against the divine orders. Allah has admonished and reminded His prophets when some of them acted irrationally,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points.
