Sh. Abdol-Hamid:

Nation Wants Justice, Freedom

Nation Wants Justice, Freedom

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on “execution of justice”, “removal of discriminations” and “ensuring legal freedoms”, calling them the requirements of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was talking to Sunni worshipers in Zahedan on Friday 30th March, 2018.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan alluded to the “Islamic Republic Day” in Iran and said: “We’d like to recommend the authorities to act on the requirements of “Islamic” and “republic”.”
“Freedom has been underlined in Islam as well as “republic” urges on it. In some republics misdeeds and sins are free which are forbidden according to Islam, but in “Islamic republic” freedoms should be realized in accordance with Islam,” he added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said: “There is much freedom in Islam as Ali bin Abi-Talib, who was the caliph of Muslims, presented in the court of Shurayh and the other person was a Jew. The judge issued a verdict in favor of the Jewish man and then he impressed by the justice of Islam converted to this perfect religion.”
“The regime of Islamic republic in Iran has been formed to ensure such freedoms; it is the demand of the whole nation from authorities, especially from the supreme leader to pave the way for more liberties,” he further said.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid concluded his points by saying: “Executing justice, removing discriminations and ensuring legal freedoms are the main demands of the nation; they are in accordance with “Islamic” and “republic” of the regime. Ensuring these freedoms strengthens the regime and makes it durable as well as makes ethnic and religious groups united. National security is also the fruit of giving people freedom.”

Love Ahl-e-Bait and respect Sahabah
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the birth anniversary of Sayyidana Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, and said: “Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, and the rest of the Prophet’s relatives and children are respected and loved by all Muslims. It is one of the common tenets among Muslims.”
“Only showing love to Sahabah and Ahl-e-Bait is not enough; rather we should imitate their directions. Ali was an example in piety, foresight, bravery, jihad and just judgment and many other good traits,” he added more.
The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar addressed all Iranian people and said: “Love both of the Companions and the Households of the Prophet, peace be upon him; because all of them had been trained by the Last Messenger of Allah.”
“I’d like to advise our compatriots who are educated wise people to respect Sahabah. Respecting Sahabah and the wives of the prophet PBUH is in fact respecting Rasoulullah himself. According to Hadith, whoever loves Sahabah, in fact s/he loves Rasoulullah, PBUH,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
President Rector of Darululoom Zahedan said: “The Islamic texts and wisdom require that we should love both Sahabah and Ahl-e-Bait, but someone cannot put love of the Companions in his heart, at least he should avoid from enmity and hatred about them.”

Recognition of Allah makes human beings submissive before Him
In the first part of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis pointed out to the channels of approaching Allah and said: “Allah Almighty says in the Noble Qur’an: فَاذْکُرُونِی أَذْکُرْکُمْ وَاشْکُرُواْ لِی وَلاَ تَکْفُرُونِ»»; remember Me, I will remember you, and give thanks to Me and be not ungrateful. It is a natural law that when you know a thing well, you love it more and start thinking about it.”
“As people have full knowledge about the worldly tools and means, they love materiality. Idol worshipers have a wrong conception of the creatures. The honest worshipers of Allah know Him well and love Him a lot,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid shed light on some evidences of the Almighty’s existence and majesty and said: “Allah the Sublime is the creator of all universe and the proofs of His majesty and power are obvious. He is evident and concealed, too. Evident because the evidences of His power and majesty are obvious.”
“Allah is the Creator and inventor of the whole world, but He cannot be seen by our eyes. Allah says: “No visual perception can encompass Him, even though He encompasses all visual perception. [6:103]” Our eyes are disabled from seeing the Almighty. As the prophet Moses’ request for witnessing Allah was rejected,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “When the man recognizes Allah fully, he will love Him and submit before His all orders. All believers know Allah, but there is difference in their knowledge and recognition.”
He concluded his points by calling on the audience to get recognition of the Almighty by “remembrance” and “thinking” which are light for the believers.
