“Patience” & “Piety” Bring Almighty’s Satisfaction

Terming “patience” and “piety” two big blessings of the Almighty, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called these blessings the cause of Almighty’s satisfaction.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid was talking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan on 22nd Dec. 2017.
The official website of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid reports that he began his speech by the Noble Qur’anic verse: «بَلَى إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ» and said: “The secret of Muslims’ victory is in patience and piety; they are very important.”
“Patience means to maintain obedience, avoiding sins and showing patience during difficulties. To avoid disobedience of the Almighty and His last messenger despite the temptations of Satan and ego is the example of patience. In difficult times we should avoid illegal words and impatience,” he added more.
The president rector of Darululoom Zahedan said: “Patience is one of the big attributes of the Almighty; it is a big and wide blessing.”
“Disobedience of Almighty, laziness in the prayers, fasting, Hajj and Zakat are the examples of impatience. Patience wants us to obey all commands of the Almighty. The one who obeys his egos always, s/he cannot be enlisted as “Sabireen”,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said: “People should withstand difficulties and pray to Allah for removal of the difficulties. Making Du’a in difficult time is not impatience; rather it is the order of Allah. But we should not complain and object on the Almighty. We do not the rationales behind difficulties which nourish us if we show patience.”
Calling “piety” the second factor of Muslims’ victory, he said: “Taqwa/piety means to avoid from violating the rights of Allah, mankind and whatever is illegal in Shari’ah and Sunnah. Victory can be obtained by patience and victory.”
The president of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to Ohod and Badr battles in the early years of Islam and said: “Whenever Muslims showed laziness in one of these two factors, they faced problems and failure.”

Employ ‘local’ and ‘capable’ youth of Sistan-Baluchistan
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out to the presence of governor Sistan-Baluchistan in the Friday ceremony of the Sunni community in Zahedan and said: “The people of Sistan-Baluchistan want change in the province. The interests of the country and people should be preferred to interests of all individuals and groups.”
“The 12th government is determined to employ capable and young forces; it is a very good and influential plan, because occupying any post for a long time will end to lack of capability and creativeness. Thus in our province also the governor should utilize local capable forces of all ethnic and religious communities,” he underlined.
The most influential Iranian Sunni leader called “unemployment” and “poverty” two main problems of Sistan-Baluchistan and urged on the governor to decrease them by accurate planning and utilizing all opportunities and potentials.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed “consulting elites” one of the other ways to decrease the problems of the province and said: “If you get the views and consultations of local elites who have witnessed the problems directly, they can give you much better and more beneficial views than the people who live in Tehran and other places.”

Repentance, the message of earthquakes
Khateeb of Sunnis alluded to the recent earthquakes in different parts of the country, including Tehran and said: “The message of the earthquakes is clear; they are from Allah in order to awaken us. We should repent to Allah and offer prayers, make Du’a and donate on His path.”
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “According to Hadith, near to the Resurrection Day the number of earthquakes goes up. These quakes are antecedent for the big earthquake (the resurrection day). Thus we should seek refuge to Allah from all calamities.”
