The most influential Iranian Sunni leader alluded to the economic problems of people in Sistan-Baluchistan province on Friday 3rd Nov. 2017.
He termed ‘reopening of borders’ and ‘commercial exchange’ at ‘zero points’ very important and working for the problem.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported he had expressed his sorrow on the closure of borders and said: “Closure of borders has affected the people of Sistan-Baluchistan badly. These borders are divine blessings and we should enjoy their benefits.”
“The people of Sistan-Baluchistan have been suffering from famine and on the other side there is no any trade and business in the province. People suffer from unemployment and poverty, they need mercy,” he added more.
Addressing the authorities of the government, Khateeb of Sunnis said: “The government should find any solution for the case of land and sea borders. Closure of borders means boosting misdeeds and business of drugs and narcotics. Business of some goods should be permitted in our province.”
“Previously many of people were earning by trafficking diesel. But a wrong law implemented to make the trade in the hands of officials completely. After it many of common people lost their source of income. Before making people jobless there should be a way to make alternative jobs for them,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid underlined.
He urged: “The ministries of agriculture, industry and trade and the rest of pertinent offices should do something for Sistan-Baluchistan. All departments should work hard to reopen the borders and facilitate the way for people to earn.”
Khateeb of Sunnis called on the officials of municipality and city governorship to take care of masses – who have been suffering from economic problems – when they reorganize any job.
“Open the borders and do not be afraid of insecurity. Be sure that people will cooperate with you in ensuring security of borders. All authorities should work hard unanimously to reopen the borders and take advantage of these potentials,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid addressed the security officials.
Trafficking of drugs damages Islamic, humane society
The president of Darululoom Zahedan denounced trafficking and drinking of narcotics and said: “Using alcoholic drinks and opium is illegal in Islam. Their trafficking damages Islamic and humane society and it is forbidden.”
“All should earn Halal money and we should have contentment. Making a person addicted to opium is worse than killing him,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out.
Enemies of Islam want to spread their customs in Muslim states
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the plots of the enemies to spread their cultures and customs and said: “As the people in the Middle East and region have been awakened, enemies of Islam want to divert the direction of Islamic awakening and create domestic scuffles.”
“The enemies and strangers have been struggling to spread their cultures in Muslim states and impose their customs and standards on Muslims. The trips of leaders of ‘super powers’ is a clue that big powers want to make Muslim states suspicious about each other finding a market to sell out their weapons. As well as they work hard to impose their opinions and cultures on Muslim societies,” chairman of the CCSS said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined: “Muslims of different countries should not be afraid of each other; rather they should know it is one of the most important plots of enemies to make them suspicious about each other. Muslim leaders should stand before such plots and react against them.”
