Removing Discrimination, Implementation of Justice Ensure Dev. & Peace of Muslim Countries

In a mass gathering of tens of thousands Sunni worshipers in Zahedan on Eid al-Adha day (1st Sep. 2017), Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis urged on the end of discriminations and acknowledging rights of ethnic and religious minorities.
According to a report by the official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the spiritual leader of the Iranian Sunni community termed the ongoing situation of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar “shocking” and “heart-rending”. He said: “The cruelty of the Myanmar authorities is very rare in the history. They commit serious crimes against a defenseless minority.”
“As media reports suggest, within three days more than 3000 Rohingya Muslims have been massacred. They have not shown any mercy even for children, women and old aged people killing them because they were Muslims,” he added more.
The principal and rector of Darululoom Zahedan criticized carelessness of the international authorities, especially the UN and said: “Massacring innocent people who have no fight with the Myanmar government is a genocide, war crime and crime against humanity. It is astonishing why vocal human rights organizations have been silent in this case; even they do not call for any meeting.”
“Why the Security Council of the UN and Muslim states do not carry out their duties? Why big powers invade other countries where they have some interests by different channels and deceitful reasons and kill people; but they have nothing to do with Myanmar because they have no interests in Myanmar,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid questioned.
He denounced the silence of powerful states of the world and said: “Russia and the US who are the permanent members of the Security Council; why they are silent about Rohingya? Why do they not impose any sanction on Myanmar to put pressure on it? Why Muslims do not support Rohingya with a preventive policy?”
“The more vexing thing is that no one is ready to give Rohingya refugees shelter and defend their innocence,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed.

Extremism is against the path of Sunnah
In another part of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan alluded to the discards of Muslims and said: “The ongoing situation of the world is different than any time. There is no any example in the past that Muslims were busy in sectarian and ethnic disputes as today.”
Pointing out to the challenges before Muslims, he said: “Unfortunately, the enemies of Islam misuse the conditions for their interests. Extremism and Takfir have been spread among Muslims.”
“Some Muslims who do not have knowledge of the Qur’an and Sunnah, declare each other ‘infidels’. Those who declare Sunni and Shia scholars ‘Kafir’ and kill people, they are away from the Almighty. They destroy their endless life. Such people think that they are on the path of Sunnah, but they are far away from the correct path of the Sunnah and Islamic Shari’ah,” the most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to the importance of finding main reasons of extremism and said: “Refusing the demands of people and paying no attention to the demands of nations, ethnic and religious minorities and oppressing them by imprisonment and murder in the Middle East and Muslim states are main reasons behind extremism. These things force some people to get arms and create problems in the Muslim world.”
He said: “In the case of Palestine, when the regime of Israel is not ready to behave justly and logically, and the powerful states do not want to find out the roots of problems in Palestine, people have no choice but to carry out suicide attacks and confront forcibly.”
“One of the reasons behind the spread of violence is the ill-advised and unwise support of the West from the occupying regime of Israel. This has created problems not only in Palestine, but also in the other countries of the world,” the chairman of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan said.
He underlined: “If the world aims to uproot extremism and terrorism, there is no way but to give in to justice and taking care of ethnic and religious minorities as well as to the due demands of other people.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points by saying: “The best way to eliminate extremism and insecurity is removal of discriminations and implementation of justice in all Muslim states. Focusing on the legal demands of nations and acting justly ensure development and peace of the Muslim states.”
