Mufti Mohammad Qasemi Qasemi alluded to the excellent status of the Muslim Ummah and its responsibility about the human society, calling “management of the world” one the capabilities of this great nation.
SunniOnline reported, the Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan began his sermon on Friday 4th August, 2017 by the verse of Noble Qur’an: «وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أُولَئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ» and said: “Allah Almighty has equipped mankind an especial honor; human beings are the best creatures of Allah with the blessing of ‘wisdom’.”
“Muslims have been honored by the blessings of ‘guidance’ and being the ‘followers’ of the prophet PBUH. It was the wish of all prophets to be among the followers of Rasoulullah, peace be upon him,” he added more.
The chairman of Darul-Iftaa Darululoom Zahedan pointed out: “It is also a great honor for every Muslim to be the successor of the prophet Mohammad PBUH in preaching and calling towards Allah. After the prophet Mohammad PBUH, there will not be any prophet; thus the duty of preaching comes on the shoulder of all Muslims.”
Quoting Shah Waliullah that by “dispatch of the Last Messenger of Allah, his nation also was dispatched”, Mufti Qasemi said: “Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi has said there were two kinds of ‘enjoining to goodness and forbidding from bad’: the first one is about our children, students and whoever is under our guardian. There is no danger to enjoin or forbid them. The second type is about the common people who may mind our preaching. When there is no danger from them, we should not remain silent.”
“Leaving the duty of enjoining towards goodness and forbidding from evil does not suit this great nation. Muslims can lead the world if they carry out their responsibilities well,” he concluded his points in the first part of his speech.
Rouhani should fulfil his promises to 24 million Iranians
Mufti Mohammad Qasem Qasemi pointed out to the endorsement ceremony of Hassan Rouhani and the upcoming inauguration ceremony and said: “We hope that Mr. Rouhani who is going to be the head of 12th administration in Iran, to eliminate discriminations and implement justice, the Qur’an and Sunnah showing a perfect and ideal society to the world.”
“It is expected Mr. Rouhani will fulfil his promises and the expectations of 24 million Iranians who voted for him. Rouhani was re-elected as the president of Iran as the Iranian Sunnis fully supported him. He got more than 6 million votes of Sunnis as domestic and foreign sides admit,” he further said.
The chief editor of ‘Neday Islam’ magazine pointed out: “The Sunni community is an inseparable part of the Iranian nation which should be focused to get its due rights. The Sunnis of Iran have no baseless and illegal demands from the establishment and government; the elites and common members of the Sunni community like to serve their country.”
“Undoubtedly the acts and stances of all of us will be recorded in history and upcoming generations will decide about us. We do not want our Sunni brothers in future to think there has been injustice about their brothers-in-faith. Also Shias should not be ashamed in future because of their brothers as they did not implement justice about their countrymen,” he underlined.
Mufti Qasemi urged at the end of his speech: “We should present an example of regime and government that believes in justice actually by engaging all religious and ethnic sects and classes of the society. Then we can show an example to the world.”
