Sunni Students Meet Their Intellectuals in Zahedan

The annual meeting of the Iranian Sunni collegians has been held at Darululoom Zahedan, Iran, today – March 10, 2016.
According to SunniOnline’s reporters, hundreds of Sunni students and collegians gathered in Darululoom Zahedan to meet their Ulama and intellectuals .The meeting was kicked of last night after Maghrib prayers in the Grand Makki Masjid with the sermon of Hafez Mohammad Kareem Saleh.
In the first session of the meeting held today morning, two great teachers of Darululoom Zahedan, Mufti Qasemi and Molawi Othmani talked to the audience.
They urged in their speeches that the world was suffering from the crisis of faith. Muslims suffer from weak faith, too. There must be researches on the West as the orientalists have been conducting researches on the East and Islam.
The scholars said more, “People who suffer from weak faith and certainty in tenets, they create troubles for the rest of human beings. Many of theories like communism, socialism and capitalism could not resolve the crises of mankind because they neglected the solutions of Islam.”
Dr. Sadeq Ziba-Kalam, the professor of political sciences in Tehran University was to participate in the meeting. A few hours before the beginning of the meeting, he apologized and announced that he will not be able to attend in the meeting due to illness. He was one of the special guests of the meeting.
In afternoon, the guest collegians took part in the question-answer classes. They also met with Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan, and Mufti Qasemi, the head of Darul-Iftaa Darululoom Zahedan.
After Maghrib prayers, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid talked to the students. Vice-governor Sistan-Baluchistan also was one of the speakers of the final session of the meeting.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to the title of the meeting and said, “There must be a pathology research on the crises of the world. There must be a campaign against the reasons behind the crises. I think the world superpowers know the root and main reasons of the crises, but they do not see their interests in their uprooting.”
The annual meeting of the Sunni collegians ended up with the congregational Du’a of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid and Ishaa prayers.
