Iran: a Sunni Publisher Passes Away

Owais Badpa, the manager of the Allamah Nadwi Publications passed away on Friday night, Sep. 4, 2015 in Tehran, Iran.
“SunniOnline” reports, Owais Badpa, son of Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, was suffering from thalassemia. He was 34.
Despite suffering from thalassemia, Mr. Badpa managed the Allamah Nadwi Publications well and translated some books into Persian. The Nadwi Publications is one of the leading Sunni publishers in Iran printing Persian books.
He was the first publisher who launched an online book shop in Sistan-Baluchistan. The respectable father of Mr. Badpa, Mufti Qasemi is the head of Daruliftaa Darululoom Zahedan and Hadith teacher at the same seminary.
The funeral prayer of Owais Badpa was offered in his birthplace, Sangan village of Chabahar district, on Saturday where he was laid to rest. Hundreds of prominent Ulama, officials and common citizens attended the funeral ceremony.
Friends and students of Mufti Qasemi expressed their deep regret over the demise of his son by different sources.
