The Grand Makki Masjid of Zahedan, Iran, has a very special spiritual environment now-a-days in the last ten days and nights of Holy Ramadan. The perfume of Holy Qur’an has been aromatizing hearts of the lovers of Islam and Holy Qur’an in the popular mosque of Ahl-us-Sunnah.
According to the report of SunniOnline, a great number of faithful Muslims have gathered in the greatest grand mosque of the Iranian Sunnis for E’tikaf (seclusion in mosques) and Tahajjud, night prayers. They are striving to obtain more and more benefits of Holy Ramadan to purify their souls.
About 160 persons have sat for seclusion in the last part of Ramadan of 2012.
Meanwhile, from the 21st of Ramadan, Tahajjud in congregation was started which would be continued until the end of Ramadan. More than 600 worshippers take part in the night prayers to listen each night more than three parts of Holy Qur’an. They will reach to the end of the Qur’an at 29th of Ramadan.
