Two prominent Sunni publishers prevented to display products

Tehran, Iran- The authorities of the 25th Tehran International Book Fair have forbidden two popular and active publishers of the Iranian Sunni community, Seddiqi and Farooq-e-A’dham, to put on display their products during the ten day fair.

“SunniOnline” reports that the undertakers of the publishers registered and submitted their documents on time, and brought up their books to Tehran; but the authorities refused to allow them to put on display their products.

“Seddiqi and Farooq-e-A’dham” publishers mostly publish books of Sunni seminaries’ curriculum; as Sunni students are facing problems to get their books.

It should be noted that authorities of provincial book fairs, particularly Sunni-dominated provinces, have been creating obstacles for Sunni publishers; these efforts are made to confine cultural products of the Sunni community of Iran.
