Bomber kills four US-led troopers in northern Afghanistan

At least four US-led soldiers have been killed in a bomb attack in Faryab province, northern Afghanistan, Press TV reports.
Local officials in Faryab say the Wednesday morning attack in the provincial capital of Meymaneh also left dozens of other people injured.
They say a bomber blew up an explosive-laden motorcycle close to a convoy of foreign forces in the area.
At least seven foreign forces have been killed in attacks across Afghanistan over the past 24 hours, causing foreign military deaths to pass the 100-mark in the war-torn Asian country so far this year.
Bomb attacks and ambushes targeting foreign troops rise at this time of the year, which is known as the Taliban annual spring offensive.
Insecurity continues to climb across Afghanistan despite the presence of tens of thousands of US-led troops.
