The civil war in Syria has left hundreds of thousands people dead including over 20, 000 children.
In Feb. 2016, I and one of the respectable colleagues left Iran to India to take part in the 25th annual seminar of “Islamic Fiqh Academy of India”. The seminar was held in a mountainous and green area, near the city of Badarpur of Kareemganj district in the state of Assam.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on focusing on the rights of all communities, terming ‘negligence of the present facts’ the main cause of crises in the Muslim world.
As many ports were shut in the face of helpless Rohingya Muslim migrants, help was offered by ordinary people across Southeast Asia, inspiring compassion and feelings of unity as one Muslim nation.
