A group of Darululoom Zahedan’s alumni from the northern province of Golestan met their teachers on Wednesday and Thursday, 28-29 Dec. 2017 in Zahedan, Iran.
Recently a popular Iranian daily newspaper interviewed Shaikh Abdol-Hamid in Zahedan, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader. The journalist of the paper asked him questions on different domestic and regional issues. Here is a summary of his interview:

AA: Maulana Abdolhamid, popularly known Shaikh al-Islam Maulana Abdolhamid among the Iranian Sunnis, is one of the outstanding and most influential figures of the Sunni community in Iran. The people of Baluchistan, southeastern Iran, know him as the Friday imam of “Grand Makki Mosque” and president-rector of “Darululoom Zahedan”.
There, in Baluchistan, was a clear need to scholars who can instruct people towards the teachings of Islam and guide them in their daily life. For this purpose, Allah chose Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Husseinpour. When Allah intends goodness for a nation, He provides them good guides.
The introductory meeting of new Sunni students of Zahedan universities was held inside the Grand Makki mosque by the Students’ Office of Darululoom Zahedan, Iran.
