Allah says: “Help one another in righteousness and piety, but do not help one another in sin and transgression. Fear Allah, for Allah is strict in punishment.” [Sūrah al-Mā’idah: 2] Allah has enjoined upon us to cooperate in righteousness and piety with everybody.

Shyness is an inner contraction which incites a person not to commit shameful actions. The opposite to shyness is smugness and indifference about committing shameful acts.

“ And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I respond to the dua (prayer) of every suppliant when they calleth on Me ” [ Quran 2:186 ]

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “If they would only put their trust in Allah as they should, He would provide for them like he provides for the birds who fly out in the morning hungry and return fully satiated.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī (2344) and Sunan Ibn Mājah (4164)]

The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ Talabul-^ilmi faridatun ^ala kulli Muslim.

`Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah exalts many people by means of this book (the Glorious Qur’an), and He also degrades and disgraces many others by means of the same.”

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty.” [Sahīh Muslim (911)].  Some people who seek to be pious tend to underrate the value of beauty. They fail to recognize that beauty is an Islamic value. Allah intended for His Creation to contain beauty.
