When Allaah sent Adam down to the earth and his descendents spread out, He did not forsake them. Rather He gave them provision and sent down to him and his descendents revelation.

Allah says: “And your God is One God; there is no god save Him, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” [Sūrah al-Baqarah: 163]
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Followers of the Qur’an, observe (devotions) an odd number of times, for Allah is Indivisible and loves that which is indivisible.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī (453), Sunan Abī Dāwūd (1416), Sunan al-Nasā’ī (1675), and Sunan Ibn Mājah (1169)]
