International Community must Listen Voice of Oppressed Palestinians

Referring to the International Day of al-Quds, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader appreciated the resistance movement of Palestinians and called on the international community to behave justly with the Palestinian nation after decades of cruelty and injustice.

In a part of his Friday speech on April 29, 2022, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said in Zahedan: “Israel has been oppressing the Palestinian people and violating their rights for decades. The Israelis have occupied the lands of Palestine, annexed their lands, and established Jewish settlements in Muslim lands”.

“Palestinian Muslims have been resisting the Zionists for decades to achieve freedom and independence”, he said.

“It is time for the International Community to hear the cry of the oppressed Palestinians. The land of the Palestinians must be returned to them and they must have an independent government to decide their own destiny”, the Iranian Sunnis’ leader underlined.

He added more: “The issue of Palestine is a global issue; this is not just about the Palestinians. All Muslims and freedom-seekers in the world must support the struggle of the Palestinian people”.

“The Palestinian nation will finally win. Therefore, the Jews should not defame themselves more and they must return to their countries and borders so that the freedom-seeking people of Palestine can achieve their rights and freedom”, said Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan in his last points of Friday speech.

Take benefit of the remaining moments of Ramadan
Referring to the impact of Ramadan on self-purification, the most influential Iranian Sunni scholar stressed the need for proper planning and correct use of the remaining days of the holy month of Ramadan.

Talking to tens of thousands of worshippers before the Friday prayers, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid stated: “Almighty Allah swears in the Qur’an that the one who reformed his soul succeeded, and the one who polluted his soul with sins became unsuccessful”.

The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan, capital of Iranian Balochistan continued his speech by saying: “Fasting and all divine plans are for self-purification and self-improvement”.

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader warned of the traps of the devil to mislead human beings and said: “The Satan used to bow down and prostrate before Allah, but because he was arrogant and rebellious, he disobeyed clear command of God. Be careful of the traps of Satan and the ego; the self is the biggest enemy of humanity. The ego pushes to sin, disobedience, rebellion and commands evil; it is very dangerous if the desire of the self is not controlled”.

“We all have weaknesses, so we should not follow the faults of others, but we should see our own faults and change and correct them”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran.

President of Darululoom Zahedan considered Ramadan as one of the special divine programs for human beings and considered the success of Muslims only in obedience to divine commands and confronting the traps of the soul and the devil.

He considered jihad against the desires of the self and the devil more difficult than jihad against the infidels and enemies.

In this part of his Friday speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on the need to take benefit of the remaining hours and moments of the holy month of Ramadan and said: “Worship God in the remaining and final moments of the holy month of Ramadan with courage. Repent of sins and blame yourself for shortcomings and weaknesses and praise God for every blessing”.
