Ramadan an Example of Allah’s Spiritual & Reform Plans

Explaining the virtues of Ramadan, the Friday Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan described the holy month of Ramadan as an example of Allah’s spiritual and reform plans. He stressed the need to take advantages of golden opportunity of the last ten days of Ramadan.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid was talking to tens of thousands of worshippers in Zahedan’s biggest Friday gathering on April 22.
After reciting Surah Al-Qadr, the most prominent Iranian Sunni leader stated: “Allah Almighty has arranged two plans for human beings in this world; the first is the spiritual program and the second is the material programs as they need. In spiritual programs, God wants to guarantee the spiritual needs of human beings; divine plans include all needs of humanity. The system of the universe, such as the moon, the sun, stars and etc. is for the material benefits of human beings”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Allah has set up spiritual programs to provide spiritual food for mankind and reform and purify them”.
“The dispatch of the prophets and the revelation of the divine books and the revelation of the Qur’an were among the divine spiritual programs of Almighty Allah. Providing the material and spiritual needs of human beings shows the wonderful management and power of God”, said the eminent Sunni scholar of Zahedan, capital of Iranian Balochistan.
He alluded to virtue of the Holy month of Ramadan and said: “The holy month of Ramadan is one of the sacred and spiritual plans of Allah Almighty. In the other eleven months of the year, there is no such atmosphere in the society. Islamic society needs an atmosphere in which spirituality is strong so that Muslims can make up for their spiritual shortcomings”.
“Allah wants His servants to think about their spiritual needs in this month in order to achieve the reward of the Night of Al-Qadr and to get close to Almighty Allah”, said Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid.

Take benefit of the golden opportunity of the last ten days of Ramadan
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stressed on taking advantage of the last ten days of Ramadan by saying:
“The Night of Al-Qadr has a special virtue, which is why Allah Almighty chose this night for the revelation of the Holy Qur’an. The last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan are special and bright days. The Prophet used to be separated from his family and children during these ten days and perform I’tikaaf in the mosque and pray to God. I’tikaaf is one of the special kinds of worships; successful people can do this act”.
“Every Ramadan is an opportunity, but the last ten days are a golden opportunity. Only unlucky people miss this opportunity”, he urged.
In this part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on recitation, remembrance of God, charity and payment of Zakah.
Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said: “Your best asset is that you spend it in the way of Allah. Spending money saves you from the torment of the grave and the fire of hell”.

We should work to reform our community
Expressing his concerns about the problems that threaten the society and the spirituality of people, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader noted: “We are concerned about the spirituality of our society. Unfortunately, the people’s connection with religion and mosques is weak. Those who don’t pay Zakah, don’t perform regular prayers, don’t observe fast during the holy month of Ramadan, and are not willing to attend the mosque; in fact, they want to run away from following the divine commands”.
“The people should strengthen their relationship with the mosque and God, avoid sins, adhere to fasting and do not miss such divine opportunities”, he underlined.
“The most deprived people are those who are deprived of divine mercy during the month of Ramadan and are deprived of the Allah’s forgiveness in the Night of Al-Qadr”, said Mawlana Abdol-Hamid in his last points in the Friday gathering of Zahedan.
