Shaikh Mohammad Yousuf Rahim Yar Khani in the Friday prayer ceremony of Zahedan:

Monotheism, the Common Call of All Prophets

Monotheism, the Common Call of All Prophets

Emphasizing the allocation of worship to Almighty Allah, Shaikh Muhammad Yousuf Rahim Yar Khani considered monotheism/Tawhid as the common call and invitation of all prophets and divine books.
Talking to tens of thousands of worshippers in the biggest Friday gathering of Zahedan, the founder-president of Jamia Usmaniyah Rahim Yar Khan of Punjab, Pakistan stated: “Almighty Allah has created the jinn and humans to worship Him. All the prophets were sent for this purpose. God Almighty has sent the prophets to acquaint human beings with monotheism”.
“Each prophet was sent for his region, people and tribe, but the Prophet Muhammad was sent to all humanity and the world. The Prophet Muhammad invited the jinn, humans, and even the People of the Book, who had independent books of the Torah and the Bible to worship only Allah”, said Mawlana Rahim Yar Khani.
“The Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him called for monotheism. The call for monotheism was not a new invitation, but the common invitation of all the divine books and prophets. The meaning of worship is that all kinds of worships must be performed for the pleasure of God”, he urged.
Shaikh Mohammad Yousef continued: “The worship that is specific for Allah should not be shared with anyone else, not the prophet, neither an angel and nor others can associate Allah”.
Emphasizing the respect for religious leaders, the prominent Pakistani Islamic scholar said: “Sayyidah Ayishah narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said in the last moments of his life: ‘Allah curses Jews and Christians who made the graves of the prophets and righteous men, places of worship.’ Therefore, respect the elders, but bow down only to God. Bowing down is not permissible for non-gods.”
“Some people ask for children from the graves and resort to them to solve their problems and meet their demands while they even don’t hear our voices. Allah caused Uzair to die for a hundred years, when Uzair came back to life he had no knowledge of events of the world. A person who is not aware of his own situation how can solve the problems of other?!” stated the ex-member of the Islamic Nazaryati Council of Pakistan/ Council of Islamic Ideology.
He urged that the Noble Qur’an quoted our prophet PBUH: “’I have no power to benefit or harm myself except as Allah may please. And had I knowledge of the unseen, I should have amassed all kinds of good, and no evil would have ever touched me.” [7: 188]
Shaikh Muhammad Yousuf concluded his points in the Friday prayer ceremony of Zahedan: “When people rise from the graves, they become enemies with those who worshiped them and deny their worship. May God give us full understanding of Islam and His monotheism”.
