Mawlana Ab. Ghani Badri:

Sins Leave Destructive Effects in Life

Sins Leave Destructive Effects in Life

The interim Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the destructive effects of sins in life and urged on avoiding from misdeeds.

SunniOnline reported that Mawlana Abdol-Ghani Badri began the sermon of 28th Dec. 2018 by recitation of the Noble verse: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ لَا يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ ۚ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُون» and said: “When we analyze our life, circumstances and deeds weighing them on the scale of the Qur’an and Sunnah, we can observe how much we are away from the correct path. People are engaged in various kinds of sins and fitnas.”

“Fitnah has been mentioned in the Noble Qur’an for different meanings, including test, bloodshed and sin. Bribery, usury, immodesty, adultery and using Haram are sins which have been common in society. When sins become usual in any society, people dare to commit sins without any fear,” he added more.

Senior Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan regretted and said: “Many of Muslims have returned to the ignorance era; some young take photos with the bottles of wine and share them on their pages in Instagram. While Allah Almighty declares wine Haram and the act of Satan, many Muslims drink wine without any hesitation and fear.”

He alluded to the destructive effects of sins and said: “All famines, tsunamis and punishments show the anger of the Almighty. They are divine alarms and we should be careful. All human beings should consider the divine alerts serious and avoid from misdeeds and repent to Allah. We see these punishments, but still insist on sins instead of changing ourselves.”

“Today the names of sins have been changed as usury is called ‘commission’. Men and women make illicit relationships at WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and other plate forms openly. We see patients at hospitals with diseases which are unknown even for doctors. These diseases are the fruits of sins,” Khateeb of Friday in Zahedan said.

Mawlana Badri called on all, especially young to repent to Allah and change themselves and avoid from the sins of social media.

He said: “When misdeeds become usual in society, people will suffer from poverty, calamities and depression in markets.”
