Karachi: Top Iranian Sunni Scholar Passes Away

Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Husseinpour passed away after a heart surgery in Karachi of Pakistan on Monday 9th Oct. 2017.
“SunniOnline” reported the famous Iranian Baloch scholar was 87. He was in Karachi for treatment where he passed away after a surgery operation in a private hospital.
Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Husseinpour was the president rector of “Ain-ul-Uloom” seminary of Gosht in Saravan district of Iranian Balochistan. He is known as “Shaikh-ul-Hadith” among the people of Sistan-Balochistan in Iran.
Mawlana Husseinpour was graduated from Qasimululoom seminary of Multan, Pakistan. He also completed specialization course in Jamia Islamia Banuri Town of Karachi. He benefited from great scholars of his time including Mawlana Abdullah Darkhwasti, Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Banuri, Mawlana Abdul-Khaliq, Mawlana Mufti Mahmoud, Mawlana Abd-ur-Rasheed No’mani and Mawlana Abdul-Wahed Goshti, may Allah have mercy on all of them.
Translating Maa’rif-ul-Qur’an of Mufti Mohammad Shafi’, Anwar-ul-Baari and Hujjatullah al-Baligha into Persian is one of the great scientific works of the late Mawlana Husseinpour.
He was the president of Ain-ul-Uloom seminary for 63 years where he was teaching famous books of Hadith and Fiqh, too.
The funeral ceremony of Mawlana Husseinpour will be held in Gosht city on Wednesday morning. His body is still in Pakistani Balochistan province and on the way to Gosht city of Saravan district, Balochistan, Iran.
