Shaikh Abdol-Hamid in the Friday sermon of Zahedan:

A Fair Solution to the Palestine Issue Secures the World

A Fair Solution to the Palestine Issue Secures the World

Alluding to the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the most outstanding Iranian Sunni leader called Israel an occupier and a terrorist state, believing that the security of the world depends on the implementation of justice.
Talking to tens of thousands of worshippers in the Friday gathering of Zahedan, Iran on May 21, 2021, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid addressed the international community by saying: “Convince Israel to return to its borders and to affirm the rights of the Palestinians”.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed to the importance of implementation of justice in divine books and said: “Allah has emphasized on importance of justice in the Holy Qur’an and the prophets also had implemented justice and were fair. Even monotheism is on the path of justice; the belief in the oneness of Allah is the biggest branch of justice and fairness; polytheism is the biggest oppression and injustice.”
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Allah wants His servants not to oppress anyone and not let others to oppress them. All divine religions advise and emphasize on the implementation of justice. The benefit of justice reaches to all human beings”.
“Allah the Almighty’s commands for justice address all human beings, including prophets, fathers, children, governments and etc. Everyone should be fair and just to his/her servitors”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran.
“Islam teaches us to be just everywhere, although if justice is not in our favor”, he urged.

Instead of boosting military weapons, implement justice
“If justice is implemented in the world, the world will be safe. The implementation of justice is the best way to fight terrorism and extremism”, said the most influential Iranian Sunni leader.
He continued: “Instead of strengthening security and military power, and making efforts to equip with nuclear weapons, governments should implement justice. When justice is implemented, the need to strengthen military power decreases”.
“Injustice is the biggest reason behind today’s violence. Today’s world is not just and fair”, he believed.
“Instead of seeking justice, the world powers are trying to strengthen their military powers. Unfortunately, the United Nations, the UN Security Council and other international institutions are under the control of the world powers”, he said.
“If the international institutions want to issue a statement in defense of the oppressed, some powers “veto” it”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.

Israel is a terrorist and occupier state that has occupied Palestine
“Western democracy is laudable in some cases, but its arrogant nature and defense of Israel cannot be accepted. Israel is an occupier and violent state that has occupied Jerusalem and the Muslim land of Palestine for decades”, the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said.
“We do not accept that the United States and the European countries say that Israel has the right to defend herself, but this right is not recognized for the Palestinians”, he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said: “Palestinians are defending themselves with stones in some areas and the Israelis have been killing them with bullets. Alas, the oppressed Palestinians are still being called terrorists by the United States and Europe!”
“The Israelis occupied the land of the Palestinians, drove them out of their homes, and annexed Palestine to its borders. The Palestinians have been displaced around the world for decades, demanding their rights”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
“The Israelis do not allow the Palestinians to worship in Jerusalem, but attack them at the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan. Now, which of the two sides is defending its rights; Israelis or Palestinians?!” the eminent Sunni scholar of Sistan-Baluchistan said.
“If Israel, that has assassinated some Iranian nuclear scientists and attacked some of Iran’s nuclear sites, is not a terrorist, then who is a terrorist?! Why there is no a correct and comprehensive definition of terrorism in the world?” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid questioned.
He added: “In the recent Israeli-Palestinian war, the world saw how Israel attacked the people of Gaza with bombs, missiles and destructive and deadly weapons! Bombs either given to her by the powers of the world or that made by herself. In these attacks, Israel martyred a large number of Palestinians and destroyed many homes”.
“Some families were completely destroyed and martyred” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged.
“Israel fought an organization and a nation that had nothing but a few hand-made missiles or low-level weapons which can be used just for threatening”, he said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid considered “defense” as the absolute right of every oppressed and said: “Moderation has been emphasized in judgments, in Islam. The oppressed people are allowed to defend their rights. Therefore, the Holy Qur’an allows the oppressed whose land has been occupied to defend themselves and to fight and do jihad. In the wars that occurred at the beginning of Islam, all the powers united against Islam, drove the Muslims out of their cities, and the Muslims defended themselves; they didn’t kill innocents and didn’t destroy their homes”.

Why do not Americans, Europeans and world powers are not fair about Palestinians
The most outstanding Iranian Sunni leader strongly defended the rights of oppressed Palestinians by saying: “Where are the awakened consciences? Why the president Biden, who supported Israel and said that the Israelis had the right to defend themselves, didn’t say the same thing about the Palestinian people?! Why he didn’t defend the rights of the oppressed?! Why don’t the world powers make a fair reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis?! Why don’t the UN and the UN Security Council powers defend the rights of the oppressed?”
“Although the issue of Palestine and Jerusalem refer to all Muslims in the world, but the land of Palestine does not belong to the United States, Iran and Saudi Arabia or any other country, rather it belongs only to the Palestinian people. So the United Nations and world powers must convince Israel to return to its borders and end the occupation of Palestine”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
He questioned: “The United States and European countries claim that they defend human rights in the world, why they don’t respect human rights on the issue of Palestine? Aren’t the Palestinian people ‘human beings’? Is their land not occupied?”
Expressing his happiness with the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine after the 11-day war, the Iranian Sunnis’ leader said: “We hope that Allah the Almighty will establish peace in the region; a just peace that the oppressed people will achieve their certain right”.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid continued his speech by expressing his hope that the peace and security will be established in the world so that all religions and sects can worship in their worship places freely.

World security depends on the implementation of justice and a just solution to the Palestinian issue
“I have said many times that the best way to fight insecurity and terrorism in the world is to observe the rights of the Palestinians fairly to get the Palestinian people back to their lands”, said Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan.
He added: “Resolving the Palestinian issue and the issue of Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen and so on, is in the interest of the entire world”.
“Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, as the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH signed a peace treaty with the polytheists of Mecca and the Jews, and the Muslims kept it until the other side adhered to it”, the eminent Sunni leader of Iran said.
“Islam is not a religion of war and violence, but war and jihad in Islam are only against the violent and arrogant powers who do not believe in negotiations and do not respect human rights and seek war”, president of Darululoom Zahedan added.

“A Muslim who fights every non-Muslim, has not understood Islam and is an extremist”, he believed.
“All governments must implement justice and respect the rights of religions, sects, ethnicities and minorities. We also recommend and emphasize our colleagues and government to respect the rights of minorities and even the rights of opponents”, the Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan said.
“Nations and governments must listen to each other and everyone should be fair and just”, he concluded his points.
