Famous Sunni Publisher Passed away in Iran

Mawlana Ghulam-Sarwar Sarbouzi, managing director of “Shaikh-ul-Islam Ahmad Jam Publications” passed away on Sunday, 29th March, 2020 in Torbat-e-Jam city of Khorasan province in Iran.

SunniOnline reported that the director and owner of “Shaikh-ul-Islam Ahmad Jam Publications” was suffering from heart diseases.

He was in Sajjadieh Hospital for treatment where he passed away.

Mawlana Ghulam-Sarwar Sarbouzi was a graduate of Darululoom Karachi, Pakistan.

He founded Ahmad Jam Publications and published dozens of key books for Persian-speaking Sunnis including Persian translation of Ma’arif-ul-Qur’an of late Mufti Mohammad Shafi Deobandi.

Sunnis in Iran and the people of Tajikistan and Afghanistan have been the main audiences of the books published by Ahmad Jam Publications.

In addition to publishing books, he was a reformer and a well-known preacher. He donated many books to Islamic madrassahs of Sunnis in Iran, too.
