Shaikh Ab. Hamid Decries Egypt Massacre

The outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, strongly objurgated the genocide of the pro-Morsi Egyptian protesters by security forces in a statement issued by his office today, August 15, 2013.

He asked the International communities, regional states and all freehearted people to carry out their efforts to stop this barbaric crime immediately.

The text of the statement is as follows:
The wave of the Islamic awakening and freedom-seeking movements which have been erupted around the world recently is the fruit of crimes and unjust acts of the oppressive powers and tyrant rulers. The long Occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem, as well as commitment of tyrant rulers with the enemies.

This awakening movement is supported by Allah; this light has been set up by Allah, so no one can marginalize it. If anyone tries to create obstacles on the way of this awakening, he will meet the anger of Allah.

The revolution of the Egyptian nation is also on the track of Islamic awakening. But the military coup, which has been motivated by the international Zionism and anti-Islam powers, against the most democratic government of Egypt and then the shocking massacre of the protesters hurt the human feelings and made all freehearted people pensive.

So we ask the states of the region, international communities of human rights and all free individuals to decry this terrible crime and bring any pragmatic idea to stop this genocide.

All Muslims are requested to make Du’a and offer ‘Qunout-e-Nazelah’ until the cease of Egyptian massacre.
