Shaikh of Hadith, Mawlana Muhammad Yousuf Hussein-pour, talked about the Companions of Holy Prophet, peace & blessings be upon him, in the 21st annual graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan.
He began his discourse by reading the final verses of the “Fath” chapter. He said in this regard, ‘Allah has mentioned the aim from last prophet Muhammad’s prophet hood in the recited verse. Allah Almighty bestowed him the righteous religion and full guidance to make Islam the dominant religion across the world.’
‘The question is that how holy prophet made Islam the dominant religion leaving other religions behind? All intellectual and researchers know well that he was dispatched when the world was in full darkness of ignorance. People were suffering from abasement morally, as well as in beliefs and deeds. Christians and Jews had forgotten their true religion, and worshiping prophets instead of Allah was their religion. Some others began to worship stones and idols,’ the rector of ‘Ain-ul-Uloom Gosht, Saravan, pointed more.
He added more saying that Allah Exalted had dispatched Holy Prophet in such a critical and sensitive situation to convey His message, and purify human beings. He struggled day and night to make Islam the supreme for 23 uninterrupted years. The history witnesses in that duration Islam prevailed only in the Arab Island. After his departure, Muslims faced the crises of Ertidad, apostasy, and some insurgency movements erupted across the Arab peninsula.
Shaikh Hussein-pour indicated towards sincere services of Khulafa-e-Rashideen, the Guided Caliphs, after holy Prophet’s demise, saying, ‘After the departure of Holy Prophet, Muslims were very shocked and sad. They were amazed what to do; in such a critical time Abu-Bakr As-Seddiq got the leadership of Ummah. He withstood all crises firmly. His determining decisions made the Muslim Nation more strong and guaranteed Muslims’ brilliant future.’
He pointed that Allah Almighty put insurgency and Fitna off by the serious and sincere efforts of the first caliph and other Companions of Holy Prophet. Abu-Bakr was aware of his duty; he was leading Ummah replacing Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
‘Caliphate had a vital role in spreading Islam across the globe; see this great Qur’anic verse: « وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُم فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا», (Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good deeds that He will certainly make them (His) vicegerents in the land, as He made those before them, and will certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and will certainly give them peace in place of fear in which they were before; (provided that) they worship Me, ascribing no partner to Me. And those who turn infidel after that are the transgressors.) the role of Sahabah was the same that Holy Prophet did when he was alive; beloved prophet Muhammad spread Islam in the Arab Peninsula and his caliphs made Islam dominant in the World,’ he added more.
At the end of his discourse, Mawlana Hussein-pour said, ‘The main purpose of holy prophet’s prophet hood was domination of Islam around the world; Allah completed this divine duty by holy prophet and his noble companions. It has been proved by Holy Qur’an.’
