Shaikh Baijan Akhund-Qazal Passes away

Iran, Golestan- A prominent Sunni scholar and lecturer at “Nu’man” Islamic seminary in northern Iran, Shaikh Baijan Akhund-Qazal passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in “Simin-Shahr” region of Golestan province.
Late Shaikh Baijan was born in 1925 in “Aaji-Yab”, situated Turkmenistan. He belonged to a religious family. Shaikh got primary education in his birth place.
He was a young when his father martyred in the prison of communist and anti-Islam regime of occupying forces.
Late Shaikh Baijan Akhund left his birth place to Iran when he was only 16 by the advice of his uncle over intensified pressures on Muslims by communist powers. He got Islamic education at Mullah Qarah Toomaj for more than two years.
Shaikh Baijan, may Allah mercy on him, joined reputed Islamic seminary of “Akhundabad” regularly when he was 19. He got higher education from eminent Islamic scholars of his time.
Late Shaikh Baijan graduated in his 31st spring of the age. Some months later, he initiated his career by teaching in Islamic seminary of Nu’man in Katuk (Simin-Shahr) as the founder of the seminary, Shaikh Mashhad Akhund Eiri, offered him to teach and administrate the seminary. He provided his sincere services to Islam and Muslims of the village and region for 55 years.
Shaikh Akhund-Qazal was very pious, humble, modest, artless and sincere scholar. Following step by step the lives of Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Companions, he showed a best moral, struggle in the path of Allah and sincerity.
After a long-term struggle to reform the society providing education and edification to Muslims, he passed away on Saturday, April 14. He was 87. A huge number of Muslims of “Turkmen-Sahra” took part in his funeral prayers.
“SunniOnline” laments his demise to his family members, Ulama and students of that region and all Muslims. May Allah Almighty place him in paradise and forgive his mistakes and sins completely.
